Thanks. I went with the Literider too. Figured the Access cover I had on my 1995 Silverado lasted for years and years and years looks like its built exactly like the Literider... can't imagine why I'd need "better quality".
Nice - send a pic when you get them. Curious how they will fit in the trail rail.
I just got a 2" wide strip of 1/8 aluminum and plan to cut to proper length to fit in the trail rail. I'm hoping I'll have enough room to fit a box wrench behind there to hold a bolt head. *fingers crossed*
Do you have an install video or instructions on this one yet? I'm working on a custom bedcap accessory rail (made from t-slot aluminum) and want to see if there's a chance the Supertop could be compatible. I think the Softopper would work, but I like the way the zip out windows work on the...
Did you find any "t-nuts" or anything that fits well in the Trail Rail?
I just read that at spring nut (made for "unistrut") could work. Haven't tried it yet though.
It's funny how these looooong wheel bases make stuff like this look pretty "underwhelming".... That's a 4 foot retaining wall I'm parked on. haha. I should make it a hood of a car next time...
Hmm, good to know. I have these mats and I haven't noticed that noise. Granted I've only been driving on wet winter roads; no summer rains yet.
That or my tire noise and blaring Shania Twain on the radio just drowns it out... ?‍♂️
I'm trying to come up with a "rail" using 80/20 to run along the box caps and then simple mounting brackets down to the trail rail system that are thin enough to sandwich between my Access Literider roll up cover rails. Have you thought about that at all? Looks like your mounting and base of...
Nope - no regrets at all. Like many others, I had a Wrangler Rubicon before and found out that on the trails we run really never needed the lockers and the E-swaybar wasn't really that great. All I knew I really wanted with the JT was the HD axles and 4.10 gears from factory. Max Tow was a...
Well... update this morning. Driving into work and now the speedo is 2mph off in the other direction (as I would have expected when set to 35") Weird. I guess it takes some time for the computer adjust and it doesn't happen immediately after changing the size setting and doing a full reboot...
Yeah, I measured using a 3ft level off the top center of the tire to get my measurement. My 315/70r17s measured at 33.25. Programmed that into the Tazer, but speedo still slow from actual (two different GPS apps) by about 1.5mph. Kept adjusting the tire size up... now programmed at 35" and...
I'm having a hard time getting MPH properly set with my Tazer. Got a JT with Max Tow package. Went up to a 315/70r17, and measured hight of tire at proper PSI using the 3ft level method off top of tire (measured 33.25). I set the Tazer accordingly, still off by 1.5mph according to two...
