That was my thought too was to seal up the port and make it a sealed box. I’m in Bloomington so I’m a pretty good haul from you. You still looking to sell it?
There’s plenty of room for adequate airspace for 1 10 ported, 2 10s sealed, or 1 12 sealed. The problem of the Skar boxes aren’t made in those configurations. I’m thinking about buying the 2 10 box and plugging the port to make it a sealed box
I’m looking to add a sub or 2 under the back seat and I’m looking at boxes. The Skar boxes look nice but the airspace on them is much smaller than most subs call for. The ported box for 2 10s would have the correct airspace if it was sealed, and the box for 2 12s only has enough airspace for 1...
Yes. There’s a lot of ways they can be mounted. You can mount them at the top or the bottom of the grab handle then position the mirrors themselves horizontal like I have mine or vertical facing either up or down. My wife has hers mounted at the bottom of the handle and her mirrors are facing...
So after a week with these on my JT and my wife’s JLU I have a few thoughts on them. Overall we both like them. They’re stable at highway speeds.
The hardware that mounts the mirrors to the brackets and the brackets to the Jeep is cheap and won’t last more than a few uses without the 4mm Allen...
They do use a 4mm hex key to install/remove. The bolt that holds it on is pretty soft and I’m afraid I’m going to strip it out pretty quickly so I’m going to replace it with a knob as soon as I can get one of the bolts to the hardware store to check size and thread pitch
Because I wanted them up out of my line of sight. My wife wanted hers lower so I mounted hers on the bottom and have the mirrors vertical facing down right now
I just installed these doors off mirrors on my Gladiator and the Wife’s JLU. $70 on Amazon. They mount similarly to the Uber $$$ CMM mirrors. Digging them so far

All the speakers are normally shaped. They’re also very small. There are adaptors that allow you to replace the 4 inch sound bar and lower dash speakers with 6.5s or 6x9s (sound bar only). The lower dash speakers are really difficult to change but everything else is pretty simple. You could...
I’m going to be installing a 6.5 inch component set it the sound bar since I’ve blown one of the OEM speakers. I’m wanting to do something up front as well and am trying to decide whether to do a whole component set or just replacing the dash speakers with something like the Terra Acoustics or...
That’s the box that I want but I don’t need the amp or sub. I still have some nice old 1990s MTX and JBL stuff stashed in my garage from when I was serious about car audio
