Yeah there's a knob on the back side of the mirror. You loosen that up and you can move the mirror in and out, or adjust it to be vertical or horizontal.
The mirror housing is plastic, the arm it moves on is plastic. The part that installs in the grab handle, and the base that inserts into that is metal.
Plastic arm, that's surprising, but you say it shakes less than Joytutus so must be pretty solid.

How about the angling up/down on that rotating part. Does that tighten with the two screws seen in the pictures? Just by friction tight, or are there notches of movement to lock into?

I've never had to touch the two screws to rotate up and down. It just stays where I put it I guess by friction. no notches.

So I installed the joytutus this week and overall I really like. I think the long arm is too long and would rather they we're tucked a little closer. I found they vibrate quite a bit going 75+, but the hold their position when all the bolts are pretty well tightened. I have them on the lower position with the L pointing down and the mirrors horizontal. I'm overall pretty happy with these. I can definitely see well when merging or parking.

I used the lange coyote all last summer, and I love the simplicity and easy install, however I hated the convex mirror and they're a too small for my use. It was very difficult to merge safely on the highway. My commute had a left lane on ramp and I go to work usually pre-sunrise. The coyote mirrors were horrible for this. Very difficult to judge distance. Also hard to reverse park in my garage due to the convex mirrors. Joytutus mirrors are a huge improvement for my day to day.

I ended up buying the Joytutus mirrors that attach at the cowl, because my driver's side grab handle is my Voswitch JL800 and the ball mount style that attach there are incompatible.

Best picture I took of them is below, you can zoom in and see the mount, one bolt out, one bolt in. They use a hex key bolt instead of a torx, which is super lame having to swap tools and it's even a different size hex key than the one used for all the mirror adjustments.

They bounce/vibrate all over the place and will move position at 70+ on the interstate. Highways / town driving was fine and saw no real movement of position but there was some minor vibrations and bouncing.

Totally worth the money to stay legal. Also woohoo for being an idiot and taking the doors off for the first time when it was 96 degrees both days the doors were off.

Andrew, I can feel your pain on the temperature and pulling your doors…I just received my new tube doors for front and back, got them unboxed preparing to install them, then looked at the temperature forecast for the next week of highs of over a hundred for the entire week, Thursday is suppose to be 109 degrees!!! I still want to put them on bad. But I will try to hold back on your advice!

Looks good. That's a problem in Nebraska as well. It gets so hot AND humid in the summer I have to debate whether or not to take them off when I had my JKU. With my JT I may just get a Sunrider or just take the freedom panels off, roll the windows down and keep them in the Jeep.
