So many great recommendations!! Thanks everyone! Considering everything I think I like the idea of the foot rest so I think with all things weighed I’m going with the Jpeggz. I do like the idea of getting that laid back cruising feel that I get on my motorcycle. They are a little pricer than what I was thinking but think they will be worth it!

I love these jpegz and got the upgraded footpad. I take these in the freeway and they don’t budge.

My vote for the Lange Coyote. Very solid and great finish. I have a set of foot pegs separate from the mirrors that have been with me through my last 3 or 4 Jeeps.

I went with the Caroline Metal Masters mirros that others have mentioned. (See pics.) One thing to note about these mirrors is that they are very convex and also don't stick out as much as I would prefer. This affects your visibility around your vehicle. But overall I still think they are a great product. And they seem like a good local company to do business with.

If you can find a set of hinge mount mirrors from a JK, they fit JTs/JLs. I found these on Ebay and used them in my JKU. I've recycled them on my JT. $20 shipped.

I've had Langes on my YJ and it was an easy choice to put them on the JTR. Very clever mounts on the JTR, SOLID.
