Sounds like maybe some apps have Carplay permissions and others don't. Which app did you end up using? Sounds like a better choice than the one I used.

Make sure you aren't plugged into the truck when you use it. Carplay made my speed match the readout on the truck instead of using GPS when I was trying to test mine and I didn't realize it until I drove past a radar trailer. Unplugged and sure enough the truck was off.

It’s a huge facebook group that does trail runs together. Nearly 6K members at the moment. I haven’t been to any events. Only found the group this month.

There’s a JeepCrew gathering tomorrow at 7pm at the Sonic in Sandy at 102nd South and State. Don’t think they have any trails planned. Just meet and greet.

My only complaint about KO2s is the size. They're lightweight because they're usually an inch smaller than every other tire in the same class. I loved them on my JK though. For the JT I went with Nitto Ridge Grapplers and I'm very happy with them.

Sold mine for a thousand on KSL within a day or two of posting to a guy who put them on his JL. You could probably get a bit more than that if you're patient.

There's also a bus that runs from here to there but it's a pretty long trip. Like 8-10 hours if I remember right. I was going to do that and sleep but just didn't have the time. It has wifi to keep you busy.

Kent will pick you up if you fly into Boise. Not the cheapest way to do it but it's an option. I was in a hurry to get mine before a camping trip so I did that. Worked out very nicely.
