I spotted a silver LE headed up Parley's on Sunday the 22nd. I happened to be taking my wife's Mini on a quick trip for the better mileage so if that dude is in here and wonders who the insane person hanging out the window of a Cooper to wave at you was, hello!
Agreed. It's worth the cost to know it's there when you need it. I only have one switch actually in use at the moment but they'll all be useful eventually and the programming and integration in the dash is great. My brother didn't order it with his and he regrets it.
I ordered it for my build from the factory so I have all 6. I just learned about the aftermarket Mopar install from the JL forum when I went looking for info on where to find the wires and such.
Worth pointing out that you only get the extra two wires if the AUX package came from the factory. If you install the switches after the truck is built, the kit doesn't come with them.
I'm using one wire for a dashcam and will later add a compressor, bed lights, and rock lights. Not sure what...
I've seen 3 others in addition to mine and my brother's. Two in Sandy and one in Highland. My brother is down at the south end of Utah County. Hit me up if you need some trail buddies. We're thinking of hitting some Badge of Honor trails in Moab before the year is over.
Especially if you run bigger tires it’s to be expected. It’s definitely not a result of the exhaust. It’s just more noticeable now since it’s louder. The 8 spd transmission is very efficient but that means a lot of shifting on hills so it can get the right RPMs to keep you moving.
Along the magnetic vein, Pitaka makes awesome cases with a circle of metal plates embedded so wireless charging still works perfectly and you can just hold your phone up to a mount and drive away. They sell mounts with Qi coils built in so it’s a clean and complete setup. It’s not as useful to...
I have this CMM ball and I had the CMM grab bar replacement on my JK. The entire bar was infinitely more sturdy than the ball in the JT, but that's the fault of FCA over CMM. The ball screws into a lot of plastic with some metal inside. That plastic isn't super rigid, so my phone vibrates a lot...
I've been running the same kit for a week. Had some of the same initial impressions as others here. It's higher pitched than I hoped and I know it's damn near impossible to make a V6 sound like I was hoping it would. I'm a fan though, and I'm glad too because rather than struggle with that...
Don’t do it man. Hold strong! You’ve come this far! What’s another couple weeks? That color might be the only LE variant actually worth anything extra twenty years from now just because there are likely to be fewer.
Don't forget that you can get the 4.10 ratio and wider axles with a Sport S and max tow package though. If you don't want to pay for the other Rubicon stuff because you'll just replace it anyway, that might be a good option. I wanted lockers from the factory and the 8.4" Nav so it was Rubicon...
I ran the 35" KO2s on factory Moab wheels on my JK with 3.73. It was a dog. Slow acceleration and on hills it couldn't decide what gear it wanted to be in. It wasn't bad enough for me to pony up for the regear because I was already in Scrambler or nothing mode (when we thought that would be the...
