Installed the pedal commander and it works but now my cameras and Sirius disappeared from the 8.4. Rear camera doesn’t even turn on when I go into reverse. Going to unplug the battery for a while (I unplugged to install as well) but not a great start. I took my Tazer off to see if they just...
There are a few that I've kicked the tires on but I am being picky about the looks too. Haven't found one I really like that doesn't hurt the breakover angle a little bit. I do want to get a peek at the Mopar ones. I've only seen pics.
I'm just waiting for them to fix the issue with the grip tape that a few people have had before I pull the trigger. I had the cheaper non-electric ones on my JK and they were great. Wish they made those for the Gladiator. Maybe one day. I don't need the drop step but I do need some kind of side...
It's a solid kit. I will say it makes 33s look little on a Rubicon because with the higher fender flares you end up with a lot of space for articulation. If you aren't going bigger on the tires I'd just leave it stock or maybe throw on a quality leveling kit. My only complaint about the Mopar...
I'm eyeing the Northridge event now that Oscar Indy has informed us. Sounds like there will be some discounts and giveaways and I have a few purchases to make that I might as well make there. I'm happy to show the truck and give test drives if anyone comes by. Not sure what time I'll be there...
We welcome you in Utah. Sure our liquor laws are insane and our politics are controlled by an obscure religious institution, but we have trails for days.
The lift left me a solid 2" of rake. I installed a 0.75" spacer in the front. Looks much better and still retains some rake for when I'm hauling so it doesn't sit too low in the rear. It did pull my front axle off center a little more than it already was from the lift so an adjustable trackbar...
Yeah once it ships don't bother with them anymore. They couldn't even tell me if it had left the yard in Toledo when it was already to the Roper depot in Utah. The dealer can get specific locations. Kent told me what day mine was in Roper so I tried to get a peek at it since I was in the area...
I run 37x13.5R17 Ridge Grapplers and the Mopar lift. I really like these tires over the KO2s I ran on my JK. They're quiet and capable. I think 35s look a little undersized on a lifted Rubicon because of the fender flares. I'm still on 4.10 gears. Here's an old pic with the 37s. I have since...
For anyone who still has yet to purchase, Boise is the way to go for custom orders. It's the best deal in the country and Kent takes care of people. They're slammed with customers trying to order diesel JLs right now (which they can't but they have to follow up on the leads) so some patience is...
I saw a post somewhere on here of someone doing exactly that. I don't think I saw the finished product though or how they liked it. I have no skills personally so I'd have to find a fabricator.
I haven't seen any improvement. There are so many variables that go into that kind of thing though and the weather is changing here which means the gas stations will start selling the winter fuel mix too. I'd be uncomfortable taking any potential increase in efficiency at face value. I'm digging...
Finally! Congrats man. I'll be interested to see how you mount your kayaks so keep us posted. I grabbed the Mopar cross rails but they're pretty underwhelming.
