You accepted a vehicle with the CEL on??? That's something you do with a $1000 used car when you're willing to take your chances, not a new or even close to new vehicle.
OK, so sugar doesn't dissolve in gasoline... but what if (as is common) there is some water in the tank? Also most gas nowadays contains 10% ethanol, which does dissolve sugar. Or somebody might use syrup like Karo instead. Then what?
Installed the Samman dead pedal that I bought last month but didn't get around to installing until today. Some people have reported difficulty removing the nut it mounts to; while it's in an awkward location it's easy with a long extension on the socket. I altered it a bit though, I didn't...
I had a boat winch like in the first post bolted to the front bumper of my first Jeep, which was a 1975 DJ5 (postal Jeep). It was marginal solution and probably not safe to use, but I was young and broke. It got me unstuck a couple of times.
I remember one time I was alone and got stuck...
Driving today (2023 base Sport), a message popped up on the screen: "Connected services needs repair. Contact an authorized Jeep dealer", or something approximately like that. I touched OK, the message went away, but I noticed the Assist and SOS buttons were lit up red. Music (android auto)...
Looks like the carabineers aren't in line with the turnbuckles, which will tend to bend the biners. They may or may not not actually fail, but you might have trouble unscrewing the links.
" Auto Fuel Saver: It operates by using the vehicle's own power source, and then sends energy to the cylinder through some small reaction process and then through the pipeline to achieve indirect savings. "
I added some additional tiedowns to the bed. I wanted anchor points higher up so I could lash things like propane bottles from falling over. I was thinking about about DIY trail rails using unistrut, but I decided to start simple with four additional tiedowns. I found some stainless tiedowns...
IF I remember to. And when I turn it back on, it defaults to... radio! But if it simply remembered the last state it was in, like every other BT enabled car stereo I've used over the last 20 years, that would be an even better solution.
Ah, no. I'm not talking about auto-park. If it dinged to remind the driver that they left it in drive when shutting off that would be fine, the engine is already off and [presumably] auto-park enabled. But I fail to see how requiring the driver to restart only to shut it off again after...
That works, shift to park, press the start button twice.
That works, just gotta turn it back on again.
I was mistaken about that, it does display it. I rarely use BT without AA, is that takes even longer to get going (media, select source, etc., etc., all while the radio plays static). If it...
I can understand the vehicle yelling at you so you don't walk away without putting it in park. That's fine. The stupid part is making you start the engine again just to clear it before stopping the engine again, when simply putting it into park should suffice.
Just like beeping if I get out...
