  1. Rubicon High Clearance fenders on Max tow

No, I replaced the bulbs a year ago. I just got my front fender chop in today so I'll be getting rid of the factory lights.
  2. Rubicon High Clearance fenders on Max tow

There are a couple of videos on YouTube. Search "jeep gladiator fender chop"
  3. Rubicon High Clearance fenders on Max tow

I have the max tow 2 piece fenders that separate without cutting. I was not able to find the gladiator rear high top fenders on Ebay...they have them for the JL but not the JT.
  4. Rubicon High Clearance fenders on Max tow

I bought some high top fender flares without lights off of Ebay and the finish is different than stock. It's darker and smoother than the factory finish. It bothers me a little but not enough to replace the rears. I did chop the rears and that basically makes the the openings the same height...
  5. At my wit's end with the steering, Whats next?

I'm glad that helped, that was exactly what mine did. :fist bump:
  6. Need some help picking tie rod and drag link

Yea, when I took the TS off and just ran with the Rocksport it didn't do very well. I've since changed tires and realized that I had 2 tires that were out of round and were contributing to DW.
  7. Need some help picking tie rod and drag link

You have to zoom in on that pic to see the Fox stabilizer between the axle and tie rod. I ordered a Synergy relocation tie rod clamp from Amazon for $60 and used it for the Fox stabilizer on the passenger side of the tie rod. I installed the high clearance rocksport in its designed location...
  8. Need some help picking tie rod and drag link

I'm running Metalcloak HD steering kit. I'm pleased with everything except for the Rocksport stabilizer...it is not very HD. I actually rigged up my Fox ts stabilizer and the Rocksport to work together.
  9. Thinking of rebuilding the steering system, any input?

Do you have a lift or still stock height?
  10. At my wit's end with the steering, Whats next?

@bastage Check the Pittman arm nut that came with the sector shaft brace. The set screw that keeps it in place backed out on mine and caused a very similar situation. I installed the sector shaft brace myself and I guess I didn't get everything torqued correctly. I took it into the shop and...
  11. Online wheels and tires

I used BBwheelsonline.com for my wheels, Priority Tires for my tires and got a great deal on both!! Of course the tires and wheels are both discontinued now which is why I got such a good deal.
  12. 40's on 3.5" Skyjacker

    Right at 80"
  13. 40's on 3.5" Skyjacker

Out of curiosity, what are you asking for it?
  14. Anyone running 40x15.5 tires?

The skyjacker was one of the only lifts available back in the Summer of 2019 but I likely wouldn't have been willing to spend too much at that time either. I think I was all in on the lift kit and installation for ~$1300.
  15. Anyone running 40x15.5 tires?

If you have the extra scratch I would recommend getting a better lift. I've already replaced the control arms, track bar and shocks that came with the kit. It hasn't been a bad lift but I developed DW about 15k miles into it which required a lot of upgrading to straighten out. I've been very...
  16. Anyone running 40x15.5 tires?

3.5" skyjacker coil spring lift. I added the high top front fenders and chopped the rear ones. I bought the Metalcloak lower front control arms to extend my castor and also installed the RR Arcus stubby bumper. It works perfectly with no rubbing on normal driving lock to lock. My wheels have an...
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I totally get why people prefer 17's for rock crawling...I just don't rock crawl and probably never will. I like the look of these but do wish they weren't quite so heavy...I'm at roughly 150lbs at each corner now. If I ever change I will definitely go down to 20's due to the availability of tires.
  18. 40's on 3.5" Skyjacker

Still 4.10's. Regear is definitely on deck. I've made a few quick trips and the wind is howling here but I've dropped from ~15 to ~14. I'll have a better idea after a little bit of driving...I'm sure it will continue to drop. It is very noticeable vs the 37's
  19. 40's on 3.5" Skyjacker

You're hemi swapping right? I will definitely be in the market at some point but I've got to research next and then let the account recover for a bit..
