That's what was confusing me. That look awesome!! So you removed the bottom part of the fender but were able to reconnect the lower portion? I haven't seen that yet...do you have any pics of the process?
I didn't drive mine at all over the holiday last Wed-Sun. It just started working again today. It's like it has to stay active or the battery loses charge and it takes a while to build up enough charge to function properly. It did the same thing when I got it back from having my steering box...
I put the doors back on while we were on vacation at the beach because an unexpected storm rolled in. I just sat them on the hinges and closed them which caused the brackets to retract all the way in the door. I haven't deemed it enough of a nuisance to take it to the dealer, I was just...
I've subconsciously trained myself to keep my door open until everyone else's is shut - then I shut mine nice and easy. On a side note...I took my front doors off last summer and the new hinge brackets that have to be unbolted on the inside of the cab retracted into my door. I can't get those...
I got banned for a month for disagreeing with a site administrator. I posted an alternative product on a sponsored thread that was relevant to the thread but was told I was being rude. They can get a little power crazy at times...and I wasn't even drunk ?
Great looking rig!! Do u have any closer pics of the chop kit? I'm about to get one and I haven't seen many on Sport S'. Did u add inner fender liners?
The knee speakers are 4" not 6.5" unfortunately. I believe there are some conversion pods from Metra that allow for 6.5" in the roll bar but not sure about the knee.
22" w/ 37's. This thing will never see a rock trail. I had 17" w/ 37's on my wrangler but this is a truck that I use for mostly truck things. To each their own. Same type of setup on my SxS 20" w/ 33's - it only sees mud and light trails.
The Rugged Ridge Max Terrain fenders are supposedly coming out soon for the Gladiator. These are about the most budget friendly to include the DRL lights. You would still have to buy inner fenders with it but you could be all in under $900 and retain a somewhat OEM look.
I went with the Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir shocks. They are $250 each compared to $350-$450 for the Fox and Falcon. I only ran the factory Sport S shocks for 700 miles, then I installed the 3.5" Skyjacker lift and their M95 monotube shocks. They were pretty nice but these Bilsteins are...
