I picked up my truck yesterday and the dealer had already installed the 2" lift earlier that day. Drove strait to the tire shop to swap on what i had ordered a few weeks ago. Toyo MT 38x13.5x18 tires. Wheels are 9" with -12mm offset. Tires fit perfect in my opinion. Working on removing the stock bumper for an ADD RockFighter right now. These trucks ROCK!!!

That thing looks GREAT! Any chance you could measure the overall height? Garage clearance is at a premium...
Thanks. Its 76" total without the hardtop. Don't have the top on now or i would measure for you.

Did you get the spare under the bed?

The spare won't fit well unfortunately. May have to look for another solution for a spare this big.

What brand/model wheels are those please? Stance and height look spot on. I was considering EVO 2.5 inch lift with 38s and it seems you've just made my decision. Any rubbing at all? thanks

That looks awesome! How is the Pentastar handling the extra rotating mass?

Looks great. But I'll bet that engine is begging for mercy. What are you getting now, about 12 MPGs or so? Keep us updated.

Thanks guys... i'll try to grab some more pictures and post them. As for rubbing/etc - no rubbing at full left/right lock or on street driving at all. I haven't taken her on more than dirt roads so far (only 400 miles) so not sure if there is rubbing off road but it looks like it should be ok.

As for the power - it does ok and actually better than i expected. Cruises fairly well at 70 on the interstate. Much past that and it runs at 3k RPM+... If you do a ton of interstate driving i probably wouldn't go this route. Around town/off road you should be fine.
I am averaging about 15mpg around town right now.

I'm running 3.5" lift with 37's on my Sport S with the Max Tow pkg. The 410 gears do fine with the tires but the 8 speed tranny is struggling. I've only put a couple hundred miles on it since the lift/tires but so far the thing wont shift into 8th gear at all. It averages ~2500 rpms at ~70mph. Gas mileage is ~14mpg.

From what I understand, 7th and 8th fear are both overdrive gears. I’m ok with the transmission not using 8th. A 7-speed transmission is still far better than prior options.

This is true! I also have not used a tuner to change the tire size yet...I downloaded a GPS speedometer app on my phone and am between 6-10 mph off. So my RPMs are actually a little closer to what I expected them to be. I was really doing ~80 when my rpms were at 2500.

Looks like Fuel wheels I think it looks awesome but you’ll be wanting 5.13s sooner than later
