They call it Selec Trac in lower trims and "RockTrac" in Rubicons. I have had it in my 2021 Ram 1500 and was sold. I also had a Ram with the straight 4WD nothing else and a 2015 with the limited slip. I believe the latter should be a minimum for anyone. I live in MT and shifting in and out of...
I love when I forget to push the button and step on it and it hesitates for that split second... The wife, riding beside me notices and hates it worse than I do... but it ain't fun when out in an intersection and having to move quick as the light goes yellow and oncoming traffic doesn't stop and...
You can get some MUCH LESS expensive knockoffs out there. I spent like 350 total. Once they are on, you can't tell the difference between OEM and them. But then there is the rub... No instructions, holes don't line up and its sort of a pain in the behind. But you can get them on without...
I didn't see this. You are doing the trip we had planned. Thanks this was great. It's good t live in Montana... And on this road, you noted the 19 inches of snow that hit and so I can narrow your dates as that snow was on like JUne 13th as I remember. It was like Spring started then whack. And it...
Well, looking right now. The wife wants one to go with friends that will work with her Cherokee Elite but I'm like why when we have the Gladiator, but she is "what's hers is hers." So, I saw a Montana guy whose son had a brand I hadn't seen. Oh, my wife's other requirement is a "dry bath." Mine...
My wife has the hots for a Lance 1575. https://www.lancecamper.com/travel-trailers/1575/ (Edit added link)
She saw one here a week ago and it will actually work on her Cherokee Elite package also. She wants to go with friends that camp. But it is perfect for the Gladiator and shouldn't tax it...
I live over in Helena, and one of the reasons I got my Gladiator was to do the trail. I'm thinking the 90 plus going on three weeks and another two weeks at least will have melted everything by now. Our own Elkhorns kept snow until July 10ish. For those with a bit less of ambition, the road...
I'm with you, but with the old (no warranty) KO2's, I hit high 30K miles and was getting another set. NOW, this was on Ram 1500's. I have them on my 2500 now and am loving them, so much better than the OEM Firestone Transforces, softer and quieter ride even with E's. That suprised me.
When the...
Thanks... Oh, one suggestion, you might consider putting a couple of pieces of velcro for getting the back doors to open to 90 degrees like that one guy did earlier in the thread. That shouldn't cost much of anything, have some instruction on installing them. That part really seems to frustrate...
Thanks, you might link that video of constructing them here. It doesn't look bad and it anticipates some things so you don't put something together and then have to take it apart again... My installer said, put it together and we can put it in in a few minutes and take out the OEM seats. He said...
As to your main question, it's beyond inflation. If you have one and something breaks at 50K and is very expensive, you just beat the heck out of inflation and a severe lightening of your wallet. So yes in that case... But, like my Renegade with it, and 50K later, not a single thing went wrong...
Perfect... Will these work with the plastic. They are two inches wide is that OK? Or one inch wide? This is about the only two incher and the plastic ought to minimize scratching issues. A bit over 3 bucks off right now and I can always use some velcro straps at some poing...
