Seems like a great opportunity for dealerships that border Canada to exploit. I wonder how well known this is in Canada. If I knew this and lived there, there is no way I would ever buy an American made car in Canada nor should any other Canadian and the dealerships will adjust but then again...
First point of order, you need to show off your Jeep with a pic. Is it stock? That seems low being Florida. Unless its lifted with 35in MTs, steel bumpers, winch, smartcap, roof rack, aux lights, recovery tools and you live in Colorado cause that's what I get. Just got back from Tx and it was...
Ya, I was so stunned when I saw it, my brain stopped functioning, I couldnt tell what was so different until my daughter points out the extra doors. I was staring at the raised roof and didnt notice it had a Wrangler rear door.
Saw this unique looking 6 Door JT, had to snap a few picks and share. My apologies if there is a thread about this, I looked. It looks like it was painted with a Line-X type blue coating and the obvious two extra doors blew me away with extended roof. Awesome looking Jeep!
One of the unique things about buying a Jeep is, unbeknownst to me, I joined a community. I like fellow Jeepers giving the wave, I like that when my jeep broke down, three Jeepers stopped and asked if I needed help. And yes, I even like the Ducking. I get it, not for everyone. First time it...
Since you plan on rock crawling and need new end links, I would go ahead and get manual sway bar disconnects. I got Rubicon Express with my Dobinson MRR adjustable shocks and springs. Metalcloak makes a front swaybar disconnect that is compatible with the passenger side endlink design of the...
Any idea what your jeep weighs? I'm easily 1000lbs over stock. Doesn't help that I'm in Colorado with thinner air and not a lot of Texas type flat roads. I get way better MPG in TX when visiting family.
Your are 100%. I have accepted the fact that ill be visiting gas stations more frequently. Im not worried about mpg, I was just curious, its our third vehicle along with a GMC Acadia and Nissan Maxima.
I have 35x12.5xR17 Toyo MTs that weigh 78lbs and looking to move to 37x12.5x17R Toyo RT Trail that weigh 76lbs. Curious what this would do to my mpg. Since I cover more distance at basically the same weight as the older 35s with the 37s, could I possibly get better mpg or is it wishfool thinking?
I have yet to see a Bronco not tripod on somewhat easy trails in Co, its almost like a feature. Despite that, I have seen them do quite well with the harder obstacles in Moab and Sand Hollow sand but its still a Ford ;) I do like the look. Good Luck!
Sounds like you need to replace the handle. I had the same problem with the driver side door handle and took it to dealer, they found nothing wrong physically like bent pins or anything visible, it was an electronic component within the handle and the handle needed to be replaced.
They have been great!!! I took it offroading a few weeks ago and went over a lot of rock gardens with the family and softening the low compression made a big difference in ride comfort, not one complaint, same trail in Oct before the lift, we were bobble heading badly. My first test was over a...
If you plan to offroad and get upgrades like a lift, new wheels, tires, better steel bumpers, sliders etc., the Rubi is the way to go, its built for offroad, has a lot of offroad features like front/rear lockers, front sway bar disconnect, Offroad + which puts the truck in offroad mode...
Finally got this fixed, it was indeed the Aux battery as suggested, I also killed the N3 fuse when i removed the battery and grounded the positive, so thats nice gotcha to know about.
Can't thank everyone enough for the quick responses on a late Sunday, it reduced my stress bigtime having a...
Thanks for the suggestions, sounds like i have a couple things I can try without too much pain, switching to N4 fuse and removing the aux battery, assuming main really is still good.
