Thanks, that was my initial thought, if it were flipped I could easily tie it to the sway bar, just surprised the shop would make that mistake. I believe you and Tim are correct.
I just got mine done and went Dobinsons HD Springs and MRR Remote Reservoir Adjustable Shocks (3" Springs 200+ lb Front 880-1210lb Rear) Metalcloak Control Arms, Track bars and Metalcloak/Fox Steering stabilizer kit and Rubicon Express F/R sway bar disconnects since I have a Mojave.
Got my 3in lift done yesterday with Dobinson MRR adjustable shocks and springs, Metalcloak control arms, track bar and steering stabilizer and Rubicon Express sway bar disconnects. The rear disconnect has 2 pins so, I assume you pull both and take the link out, however the front has just one pin...
I installed mine exactly as described in the video, there's a third thumb screw that screws into a metal tab with the provided ear clip along with the fender liner that has the weight supported by the OEM tabs and its solid. Good Luck!
There are two OEM tabs that orignal plastic caps plug into on the back side, can u line up the RokBlokz screws with them? i actually considered putting the clips on them for extra support but they work fine as is for now.
I have a Mojave but your front looks like its too far out. The outside lip should rest on the fender not on the outside. Heres a pic of my front and rear. Only issue i had was putting the the rears together, the holes were not square and the hex nuts would not snap in without re-squaring them...
I noticed the sag on mine after adding smartcap, frontrunner roof rack, steel bumpers, winch and recovery tools. Im planning on getting Dobinson adjustable shocks and HD weight specific Dobinson Springs (apprx 800lbs-1200lbs) with my 3in lift kit when i have the funds. Im building an...
Really like them, previous owner put the Toyo MTs on the stock 7.5 wide wheels. With the 9in wide and -12 offset 703 wheels, the 35s looks bigger and feel better, more grip on the road. I've driven twice since i got them about a month ago on mountain snowy, icy roads and it handled noticebly...
I feel like i could pair down my list down a bit, lol:
1. Kinetic 30 ft tow rope
2. 3 in 30ft tow strap
3. 4 soft shackles
4. Two snatch blocks with two tree savers
5. Folding shovel, pick, axe combo
6. Gloves
7. EZ Flate air compressor
8. Hi lift 48in with base
9. Four recovery boards
10...
I went thru this same decision process and decided on the Mojave. If you are planning to Rock Crawl and accept all the risk that comes with that, the Rubicon is the way to go. I went with the Mojave for overlanding purposes and it can handle quite a bit of rock crawling with just the rear...
I just got black Method 703 wheels but I think Bronze would look way better on your White Jeep and stand apart just a bit from the rest of us, Discount tire will give you a rendering which gives you an idea.
Wow, never heard this, thats crazy. Those wont fit in your hood scoop, they are too deep and bulky for the space but these Oracle lights will and look awesome in the hood grill, also Rokblokz mud flaps work well with wheels with -12 offset and almost 2in of poke. They are removable for rock...
yep, thats what i ordered, so i was able to plug the speaker wire leads into the OEM plug and carefully place them in but they can be pulled out so im going to use the crimp connectors to be safe but for now want to test them out for a bit before i cut the oem plug and commit. So far so good...
If its just the hardware you need M6x1.0 - 80mm, I have about a 1in hard rubber spacer between the hood and bracket, you can get away with shorter if you dont have that. I went with stainless hex bolts, I tried the black allen wrench type which look cool but they didnt take long to rust. If you...
Took your advice and ordered them on the spot. Ive owned Kicker speakers in the past and was thinking about a Rockford fosgate amp but after upgrading the dash speakers and the two 3in speakers in the sound bar not sure I need to after i replace the remaining OEM speakers. Its only been a day...
Keep in mind that heaters that work like MR Buddy requiring air dont work as well at higher elevations, above 7k is what its says on the box. I was ice fishing this weekend at 8,800 ft and our Mr Buddy would only work at low setting, when setting to high, it would burn for a bit and then stop.
