Stopped at light and lights flickerd and engine stopped, tried to restart, lights flickering, red battery symbol, red lightning bolt and it would not go to Off, i kept trying and somehow got it to start, seemed ok drove about a block and it died again and this time it would start but again it...
Even with access from behind its hard to pop out. I have shallow palm dent on my tailgate just left of the latch that I can access from behind and can pop out but it doesn't stay and just pops back. I tried the pop out tool from harbor freight and same result.
I replaced the sound bar speakers in my 21 Mojave with two 3.5in and two 4in Kicker speakers and they each had their own connections, I was even able just plug the speaker wire into the adapter plugs of the jeep so I didnt have to cut and crimp although probably will eventually but wanted to...
You may want to consider purchasing one with a warranty if possible. I went thru this same dilemma last Oct, the prices had finally started to drop for the used market, even better now, especially if you're willing to travel. I wanted used because I knew I would be upgrading bumpers...
I shouldn't laugh, I'm planning on doing Black Bear this summer and when I hit that spot I'm sure I'll be saying to myself "what was I thinking? Are my affairs in order?"
Ive had the lifters replaced on the left side and at that time it was under 60K so it was covered and now its ticking again so taking it in on Tues for what I suspect will be the lifters on the right side. Im now at 67K miles, purchased 2021 Mojave with 50K miles last Oct and got the extended...
Just got my 3in lift done and wondering what I can sell my old Mojave fox shocks with resevoir with 60k miles on them for. I as offered $400 for all 4?
Is it normal to have some bowing at the top of the front springs when going from stock Mojave suspension to a 3in lift with new Dobinson Shocks and Springs (with spring isolators to prevent bowing), MetalCloak F/R control arms, MetalCloak F/R track bars and MetalCloak/Fox Steering Stabilizer...
Finally got around to trying this and they measured pretty much the same which is bit of a surprise based on what I think im seeing but that's why I wanted to measure. Thanks for the suggestion this gave me some ideas to get more comparisons.
Got my Dobinson 3in lift about 2 weeks ago and noticed my passenger side front spring looks like it has an s curve in it bowing out at the top, the driver side looks like its just bowing out at the top. Staring at this for some time, I noticed that standing in front I can see more tire tread...
Can you wash off Pine resin? I got my Mojave last week of October so of course I had to take it out on a trail and shocker, snow on the ground in Colorado in Oct but not bad, took an elevated bypass and started to slide sideways driver side into a small 6-7in thick pine tree and that resin was...
Bumber that cant take a bump??? Yep I had the same thin steel rectangular plate thats just strong enough to be mounted to the frame without bending and support a winch kit. Im not a muscular guy by any means and I can single arm curl the front bumber, but I get it, it keeps the mileage down and...
Not the answer you want to hear but my rear plastic bumper was the first thing that was taken off and replaced with a Body Armor 4x4 steel bumper for less the $400 and added the bed sliders and panel protection so it bumped up the price but now if someone rear ends me, they are most likely going...
There are at least two company's that make track bars that will accommodate 37s . I dont have my 37s yet but when I got my lift done I got the Metal Cloak track bar that will work with 37s and I believe Clayton makes one also.
Awesome! Excited for your new adventures with your boys. If you trail with some minor obstacles, a manual front sway bar disconnect will give you more capability until you can swing the front/rear lockers. There are some good videos on youtube showing the advantages of a sway bar disconnect vs...
Take your time is my best advise, you dont want to spend a lot on something you regret. Figure out how you are going to use the jeep. Are you going to just hit the trails without a ton of gear in your bed, like a rack or topper, rooftop tent, steel bumpers, add a winch? If you plan to add a...
Right, thats not my concern. If i were to flip it, even if i could get the pin in and out, the bolt would have to come out as well becuase it would hold end link in between both outside and inside brackets. Thats why im thinking cut outside one off and problem solved or go with something like Apex.
I think I see why they installed it that way, the passenger side axel connection has brackets on inside and outside, the picture shows the outside bracket tab and its also connected to a bracket from the inside which supports the trackbar and the steering stabilizer, I believe the outside...
