Edit; installed

OK got them installed. I have the XL standard width flaps, the wider ones may be different.

Product i give an A or A+ the mudflaps are great.

Support and directions I give a D or D+

Roblox’s really need to redo there video and paper directions.

If you have a rubicon they are 100% great.

If you have a sport s I’m not 100% but may have some stuff to do.

Max Tow

For the fronts you’ll have to trim the front flap to fit. Not a big deal but you need a Dremel, some folks won’t have one or not be willing to cut into a $100+ new part.

See pics in post below for what I had to do.

Rear actually fit just fine, the edge of the flap tucked under the extension of the max tow just fine. See pics below. Mine are not the wider versions, I'm not sure how those will fit.

Original;

Put, well, started to put on Rokblokz today and didn't get very far.

Spent way to much time with nothing to show for it.

Rokblokz them self's are really well made, look great, think they will be real nice when all mounted.

The directions suck. The video instructions are different than the written instructions.

The note on the mud brace is very much lacking. And the extra bracket off the truck is missing totally on the written side.

So I got the brackets on but now need to go back and add the mud brace, not a big deal.

Fronts I could not get mounted at all, 1/2" to 1" off on alignment, both sides.

Rears a re completely not workable. BUT that's due tot the Max Tow fenders. They have a YouTube on that but don't' actually show the result.

Some place I saw some pointers but I can't find that. Have Dremel will cut! LOL but like to see what I'm trying to accomplish before hacking. I'm 80% sure I know what I need to do.

Any one do Rokblokz on a Max Tow?

Ok fo the front I had to lower the notch to clear the wider extra trip on the max tow fender using the drimel of doom.

I marked out, drilled a line of holes along the bottom, used a cutting wheel for the sides then used a sanding wheel to clean up and radius out the bottom. I also have the rubicon rock sliders so I just widened that is not even a 1/16” to give me some wiggle.

I have a Mojave but your front looks like its too far out. The outside lip should rest on the fender not on the outside. Heres a pic of my front and rear. Only issue i had was putting the the rears together, the holes were not square and the hex nuts would not snap in without re-squaring them, very annoying considering cost. Heres a pic of my front and rear. There was set of brackets i didnt use. Hope this helps.

There are two OEM tabs that orignal plastic caps plug into on the back side, can u line up the RokBlokz screws with them? i actually considered putting the clips on them for extra support but they work fine as is for now.

Yes, mine run through the inner fender through the tab into the flap w the metal unit.

The way you have yours are incorrect.

You are either supposed to have the metal tabs on the oem tabs, or your supposed to go through them into the flap.

Inner fender/Tab/Flap

Or Inner fender/Flap/Tab with metal.

Right now yours are hanging on to just the inner fender. Go to 5 min of the install video..

You have the same fenders as the Rubi, you don't have the same fender liner front or rear as I do. With the Max tow we have the sport liner with an addition to widen them. That's what makes mine kinda goofy and the odd ball.

I installed mine exactly as described in the video, there's a third thumb screw that screws into a metal tab with the provided ear clip along with the fender liner that has the weight supported by the OEM tabs and its solid. Good Luck!

Since they weren't designed for a Max Tow , I'm not surprised you had trouble.

On the Other hand

I have a Rubicon, and everything was spot on and easy as could be.

Sorry you had issues, I bet once you get them installed and adjusted they will look great.

Nothing compares to RB... so as long as you get everything squared away, you made the right choice.
Good luck !

I installed XL Long Rokblokz a few weeks ago. Agreed—their video was not the best. I watched three different videos on YouTube including the one from RB. Each had good tips but none stood on their own well. Using a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to pop the bracket screw thing together was helpful. The RB video just had the guy pushing them in—LOL. No way that would work.

The extra brackets in the wrapper in the picture above is a new addition. Of course, I got to the end and had the extra parts. The newest video had directions on that but I don’t believe it was the RB video. I had to start over on the back but it was pretty easy. Just makes it attach stronger—I don’t know if it was needed or not.

Overall, the video and instructions from RB could be improved a lot. The final product is great though. Looks awesome and has cut out sand and water spray on the doors and windows.
