Rokblokz - do they fit the max tow or not?

Hello all,

I'm getting conflicting info all over the place. Does anyone have experience installing Rokblokz mud flaps on a max tow? Some sources say they fit fine, some say only the fronts fit, some say only the rears fit, and some say fender lining trimming is necessary while others don't.

Any info would be appreciated - including suggestions for alternative FRONT mud flaps that absolutely will direct-fit a max tow.

Yes they fit, I put the XL's on mine with no issues.

The Rubicon Diesel has the same wider axles as the Max Tow, I put the XL on for a little more coverage and they fit just fine.

If you have a Metalcloak rear swaybar reinforcement bracket (and you should), you will have to make a small notch in the rear mudflap mounting bracket to make it fit around the reinforcement. A couple minutes with a die grinder and a can of black spray paint got mine sorted.

The sway bar link arm upper brackets in the rear (where it meets the frame) is a known week spot and many fail under even moderate wheeling. You can see examples in the video on the metalcloak page for the bracket. Its truly a piss poor design from Jeep.

The factory mounts for the rear anti-sway bar are weak and prone to cracking. This bracket reinforces them before that happens or fixes ones that have already cracked. I put them on as a preventive measure as soon as I got my truck.

I appreciate the info so far everyone (especially the detailed link above). Ha, as can be seen - seems no straight answers but I'll give the Rokblokz a whirl (even they seem to contradict themselves on if they'll work via their website). We'll see!

Mine failed and we had to weld in a new piece. I added the reinforcement bracket. It does make the mud flap install more challenging. But they still fit.

Anti-Rock Heads Up: the mounts for the rear flaps utilize the same spot as the rear Anti-Rock sway bar and you need to make modifications. Not huge modifications, but not a direct fit either.

I installed the standard size ones. Seems like the front ones were a little tricky to get on, but I didn't have to make any modifications or drilling or cutting to get them to fit.
