UPDATE...
I was just told by the dealer that FCA rejected/denied my warranty work. Dealership states they will talk to some factory area rep about it tomorrow but as of now its denied and the cost to replace is on me. I was told "the engine long block has a blown head gasket(s) at the #1 and #4...
I have to say JeepCare was responsive the first time around hoping they help out here.
I asked about it the buyback and they were pretty quick about offering it. I have around 25-30k in mods so it would have been a ton of work getting everything off and also finding the old stuff to put back...
Oh man that sucks, I’m still not being given a rental either lol. Still waiting, they won’t give me one until FCA approves the whole process.
Yeah this is the last Chrysler product for me.
Yeah I figured maybe it will just be the engine and then all good but after having everything replaced and now having another engine needed I don’t trust FCA. I had two JKs before this and they were great zero issues that’s why I bought the JT assuming a new car would be even better. Just bad...
I’m not sure anymore to be honest, they offered a buyback but I had so much into it that it didn’t make sense. So they gave me some money, a new engine and a 6 year 100k warranty from FCA. So I thought all good if anything goes wrong I’ll have the warranty and now they are saying it’s a 50/50...
Fair warning this is a rant/venting session…
Sorry to say I’m done with Jeep/Mopar/FCA…
Day one off the lot I I drove off and 20 miles into my trip back home the visor broke, from then on it’s been a love hate relationship with this truck. I love it more than any other vehicle I’ve owned and...
All the chain shops like discount tire can’t do it, I reached out to all the chain places in San Diego and all said the same thing. I went to a small independently owned tire shop and they were able to get them mounted and balanced with zero issues.
Yeah just avoid Teraflex period. I had to find out the hard way the ball joints do not work with RCVs. No help from Teraflex and not listed anywhere that they do not work with RCVs. I found out after removing the old ball joints, installing the Teraflex and seeing the boots on the RCVs be slowly...
I had my 5:13s put in by a shop here that only does regears nothing else. I paid 1350 for everything, they took 4 hours total to do the work. I was going to go w Rebel but they had a two week wait. I found most shops in SoCal that I called were doing the work for around 1500-2000. The price you...
My seats look new 4 years later, I have the black leather. I clean them with leather cleaner and treat the leather with leather conditioner it has UV protection in it. My top is off 10 months out of the year, doors off all summer…thank you San Diego lol

I was considering the bajas too. How is the sound from both? Pretty loud? Are they close to 40” mounted? I’ve been on 38” Patagonias and they are pretty quiet but now I want 40s hard to find much info.
Hi everyone,
I have the gen 1 tube doors from Mopar, (best looking tube doors for these trucks in my opinion) I need the part numbers for the bump adjustment screws, def not what they are called but I have no idea what else to call them. I was able to get a pair from a member here a while back...
