They offered a buyback without you requesting it or getting a lawyer involved. That is a huge red flag. You should have pulled what mods you could and taken the loss.I’m not sure anymore to be honest, they offered a buyback but I had so much into it that it didn’t make sense. So they gave me some money, a new engine and a 6 year 100k warranty from FCA. So I thought all good if anything goes wrong I’ll have the warranty and now they are saying it’s a 50/50 that it will be covered. Regret not taking the buyback now…
It was a lot of work, but I pulled everything off my first Gladiator and traded it after 4.5 years. I only left the Trailer Brake Controller and the Badge Glow Aux Board. I kept the wheels and tires I had just put on three months earlier, and put the factory wheels and worn tires back on. It's been almost a year and only about half the stuff, so far, has been put back on the new truck.
