Push the button on the handle. You can hear the door lock. Being me, I always check to make sure even though I heard it. If I push the button on the handle and then immediately pull, mine doesn’t unlock.
I have the Oracle lights and they can blind you in the daytime!! I love them.
Two tips if you go that route:
Buy the plug-and-play. Tapping wires wasn’t a good time and the colors never seemed to match. P&P was EZPZ.
Make sure you have a flat 7 mm socket. The inner upside corner is...
People come and go. Dude wouldn’t have posted his nice words if he didn’t enjoy the experience. Best wishes to him and his new ride. People switch around. My wife has gone from Honda to Toyota to Lexus to Volvo to Hyundai. All SUVs, all good experiences.
You can kill yourself wanting something...
My house rebuild is finally done so I am moving from my rental house to my new one a mile away. Already a ton of trips with a full Gladiator with many more to go. As a reward for all of its hard work, my Gladiator will finally be able to park in a garage rather than out in the open with massive...
My Alien Sunscreen has been fantastic. Easy to install, cuts wind noise, greatly reduces radiant heat. Supposed to reduce UV exposure 90%, IIRC. A lot of other similar products out there—go get you one!
You and I are thinking the same. Plus, if I bought a more base model and used the saved money to upgrade, my wife would have given me grief on each upgrade even if agreed upon before. So, that made the Mojave a slam dunk for me right there.
Also, I LOLed that you put "need" in quotation...
If you want to do a bunch of mods, go cheaper. No use paying extra for Mojave upgrades if you don’t need them or have mods planned that will counteract them.
My Mojave had most of what I needed when I bought it. I am still doing mods but they are more superficial and not messing with...
A lot of great things about Gladiators. The best for me is that I now always have things to get for Father’s Day, Christmas, birthday, etc.
My Jeep had a great Father’s Day on Sunday. FlexTread floor mats with an orange Mojave logo and a dead pedal. My Jeep accessorized me some with a "Desert...
I have had my Jeep for a year. My daughter-in-law gave me a handful of ducks immediately (I think partly to humor herself because she knew I wouldn’t want them). I tossed them in my center console. I pull the pirate duck out for when she arrives to visit then back in the console.
Since I have...
This list is a solid one too. The grab handles are Velcro and easy. The dog hammock was my first purchase. I have a lab that loves to swim so he rides there if the trip is too long for the pick-up bed. The zip up sides add some security when the doors are off although I may be getting tube doors...
I bought a Mojave since it came with most of what I needed / wanted (more wanted—LOL) to run on sand at the beach. You have a Mojave so you already know and have those. I have found a few things very helpful:
- Rokblokz. I was getting sand tossed on my hood and into my windows. Standing water...
I had my Jeep almost a year before I got ducked. I have to admit, it made me smile. I don’t want them on my dashboard so I put it on another Jeep to give them the same smile. Pay it forward.
Hard to go wrong for something you can easily pick up and is only $50. Roll the dice. If it ends up sucking, post it back to this forum and we will come up with some creative things to do with it.
I love my Mojave. I had a company car for 32 years (fun to drive? No. Cheap? Yes. Best deal ever? Absolutely!) so was new to Jeep. Therefore, I wasn’t likely to buy a Sport S then do a bunch of upgrades since I didn’t know anything about anything. I knew I wanted a lift, bigger tires, and that I...
DEFINITELY get the extension cable. You don’t want to cut your hand up getting to the SGW again once you have done it once.
I made a ton of changes but can’t remember them off the top of my head since I am used to them all now. It took a minute with the poor instructions but easy once you get...
