I do wraps as a side job and I’m certain thats paint. The doorjambs alone give it away because the bolts match perfect as in they were also painted. If thats a wrap then They somehow paint matched bolts as well which is pretty tough to do perfect
i’m not an expert by ANY means when it comes to engines and the like… but is dropping that engine in on stock dana 44’s a bad idea?
it looks like the only change was the engine and trans?
Those stock bolts are beyond frustrating. Just battled them last night. As for the bracket, just mount it to the shock and turn it, it should turn with a little force easily.
for the three small bolts, I put the top two in and then used a jack to sort of shove the bracket in place to get the...
appreciate the detailed answer, I may start with the 4x 3.5” and go from there.
stock is just so quiet and lackluster, only thing I wish I could change about the jeep the way I bought it would be the sound system and an 8.4” screen
Based on your experience, do you feel like the footwell speakers are “needed” to improve the sound?
I have the exact same stock speakers as you with the 7 inch and have just considered swapping out the 3.5s in the dash and sound bar and calling it a day
thoughts?
got impatient… putting on my new stabilizer.
Truck goes in for the aluminum to iron steering box and a front end allignment in two weeks. Wanted this on before the alignment!
I remember before I knew anything about camping, offroading, overlanding, whatever you want to call it, I walked into turtle back trailers in AZ thinking I was about to look at and potentially order a trailer for MAYBE 10k. When they showed me around and we got to talking prices (30-60k) I about...
I’m really happy with my progress on this build. This is my FAVORITE vehicle I have ever owned. I’ve got quite a bit of stuff coming up in the next 6 months or so before a big trip in CO this July.
Enjoying the snow right now here in Colorado before I move back to Arizona!
I’ll regear at some point but the 4.10’s are fine with 37’s. A regear will be nice, but its not as bad without it as some people make it out to be. From 33’s to 37’s there for sure is a loss in power, but from daily driving city and highway to offroading… the 4.10’s get the job done
Unless you really want the lift or the look, 35’s fit perfect without a lift. Im running 37’s and have no rubbing and great articulation (with a fender chop) and left the suspension fully stock.
(Im beefing up a lot of components but height wise will remain the same)
