yes, its the same width open and closed. This is the only hardshell that fits dam near perfect on this rig!
Here was the first trip I took it in, love this thing
It sounds elementary but I noticed that when I put the little mpg gauge on my dash screen and watch it while I drive, my mpg went up nearly a full MPG. I noticed a lot of time I lay on the gas more than I need to, and I’m not even getting any speed benefit just higher rpms and lower MPG. Idk...
I was surprised that mojave and max tow are the same. I had the same assumption as you.
Glad to hear the daystar spacers and max tow sits well. The exact setup I have going on, should keep everything level with the way I have it
Wow so the overland springs are about an inch and a half longer than both max tow and Mojave springs.
I think given my preference for a rear rake, I’ll still add a 3/4” spacer to my max tow springs when they go on next week
would be curious to see the difference. I bought spacers to go with the max tow springs for my mojave but now that white rabit and I had a measuring contest, I’m seeing its likely not needed
I have max tow springs in my garage right now that I am planning on installing so the minor squat I have will go away. Its only bad right now when I load up the bed with camp gear so I’m swapping to avoid that and get back my rear higher than front rake
Lot of fun today! Got the matte black rear emblem installed, as well as custom Mojave decals from @pixeldecals
Also installed my spare jerry can in the bed
Stock mojave, no lift, Chopped rear fender, 37’s
ZERO rubbing on road, No rubbing offroad yet, but plan on chopping fronts as well once my AAL fender lights come in.
Honestly it depends on a lot of factors. Wrap charges vary greatly depending on color, finish, brand and shop quality, turnaround time etc.
Doing a JT would likely be around $1000-$1500 in materials and the labor would vary.
I’d say around $3000 would be a good price. Thats what I would...
But even then, it could be a wrap. The goal is to make it look like paint. Which is very doable… here’s an c43 AMG I did the door jambs on to match.
Exactly. They painted the jeep and didnt paint the doors.
I’ve never seen bolts like that match the color perfect when it comes to a wrap. Its usually easy to tell in that type of area
