Yes, it can be done, even with sport fenders, I did it myself. Just don't go off road. You may still rub on lower control arm tho. But it is streetable. Search my previous posts. Recommend 3.5" lift min if u want to off road.
Has Noone thought to just swap stock wheels/tires and the test drive to isolate the 37s? Simple and effective, they would know right away. In the end, they can't just visually call it like that. As per Moss-Magnuson Act, dealer needs to prove it to be the fault of the aftermarket part in order...
As for the 7-4 pin connector, just have someone cut the hole near the receiver and remount it. Curious as to ur experience with dv8? Never owned their products, but looking at a few for future mods.
Sacrifice spare tire, or at least relocate to inside the bed, and add extra battery; put out 350-400 total combined hp/tq; provide 50-100 miles battery only range; add a solar chargeable dongle to support solar charging while driving (i kno it wont be much at 18-24v, but every bit counts); and...
This bumper's direct competition is DV8 rear bumper for 699. Which I prefer since it has cutouts for included bumper lights and relocated license plate holder. No tabs for shackles, but who cares, put a hitch shackle. Only real downside is there's no cutouts for sensors, but I could personally...
With these trucks, you'll see coolant Temps and sometimes oil Temps are the real issue. Haven't heard of tranny issues much, they're stout. Just keep an eye on those 2 Temps and ur good. On that light a load I wouldn't worry. But I can tell u from experience towing a 7.5k boat in my sport s, u...
Damn, would love to do Gobi right now, but I'm still hoping for hyper yellow or gecko with new 3.0tt i6... almost blessed motor crapped out on me when it did.
After mudding, simple quick pressure wash at house to remove mud. Then drive to local car wash, the one u pull up to and it runs u thru in neutral. I subbed for full wash/wax/sealer/ceramic/tire shine package, $45/month unlimited runs. It ain't pro, but Hella works. I run it every Fri and Sun.
If trying to drive into the Speedway for obstacle course/vendors, kno it will take u about 30-45 min to get in, unless maybe early. Obstacle course is fun, but is it worth $80? I say nay, but if u partake in all the included events, then yes. I'm still debating myself. Think I'd rather do my own...
I wonder if engine cooling will be improved with this new motor... high hopes, I kno. Holding off trading in for diesel now until more about this motor is revealed/proven.
Those who may have, looking to see how tall it is, top of bed rail to top of rack? Looking to stay in the 15" - 17" range. I know my rtt will poke up some, but that is of no concern. Just want to see better out the rear glass. Currently sitting at 13" with upper decker and rtt risers. Pics for...
I was about to pull the plug on a JTD... but I'll wait to see what they do with this motor. If it even puts out 350 hp and 400 to, it be worth the swap. Especially if it squeezes an extra 1-2 mpg more than current 3.6 v6. I'll be all over it.
I think the "solar" convo needs to be moved out to its own thread. Yall have taken this threads main topic way out of context. Personally, I want kno more on this powerplant as it comes available.
