  1. Diesel Engine issue tracking thread... also please post if NO issues!

11,000 miles, no issues. Use 1.5 oz. hot shot each fill since 3k miles. Had the DEF recall flash a few weeks ago, no noticeable difference.
  2. JT: Reliability

9 months and 10.5k miles on my JTRD. Added lift to get rid of the diesel bottom out issue and installed geo correction brackets for caster. Just had the recall completed for the software flash. Been great so far.
  3. guys with 2.5" and 3.5" lifts

Thanks, I used the Terraflex spacer to level. At the time of my lift, there weren't many options for the diesel, so I went with Mopar lift (AC rev. with larger FOX shocks). I added geo correction brackets for more Caster.
  4. guys with 2.5" and 3.5" lifts

Mopar lift w/1" TF spacer on front for level after bumper and winch, 35" BFG's. Rides great on/off road, height is perfect for me and the wife. Looks like plenty of room for 37's at this height, should I choose to get them the next go round. Hope this helps.
  5. DIESEL ONLY: How long has your fuel pump lasted?

9k no issues so far. Been using EDT though, since modern diesel lacks the lubricity of the good ole' days.
  6. thinking of cancelling 22 rubi diesel order

8k no real issues to date. Had to tighten a few suspension components early on, but really enjoying mine. I know two additional diesel Gladiator owners as well, can't remember their mileage, but they've had them longer than myself. So far, we have all had a great experience and loving that...
  7. Request: 35s with a Lift?

2" Mopar lift, 1" Terra spacer up front. 35"x12.50 BFG's. Wanted a little more breakover angle without having too large of a tire. Still rocking 23-24 mpg's, really enjoying this setup.
  8. ‘21 Diesel w/ Mopar 2” lift. Bad Front Rake.

100% agree regarding the new LCA's. The new LCA'S however, only put you barely within spec. Once you add an additional inch of spacer on top of the spring (seat of my pants quote here) you can in some cases tell something is off. Far too much wander for my comfort. I feel there is a bit more...
  9. ‘21 Diesel w/ Mopar 2” lift. Bad Front Rake.

It's not required necessarily, it's more of a preference. It just adds Caster which reduces bump steer, putting the jounce into the suspension rather than creating feedback into the cab and steering wheel. The additional Caster appears to make it track straighter & it seems that my Gladiator...
  10. ‘21 Diesel w/ Mopar 2” lift. Bad Front Rake.

I installed the Mopar lift and added the 1" Terraflex spacer to my JTRD, mainly to account for the added weight of my bumper and winch. It sits almost perfectly level. An associate of mine has the Sport S with bumper and winch, he ended up using the 1.5" (both spacers). I enjoy this lift, and...
  11. What is the purpose of the Gladiator and what do you call it?

Great video! I've heard it's not a real truck and it's not a real Jeep in the same day while out wheeling a few weeks back. This video should be classified as "educational" for those who don't comprehend it's multi-tool functionality.

  13. What actual lift heights are you getting from 2.5" or less lifts on ecodiesel?

I just replaced the trackbar with Synergy, no particular reason, other than an associate was selling his for half price (he traded his in). The lift comes with the new LCA's and I'm very happy with how it handles on & off road. Here's a before & after.
  14. What actual lift heights are you getting from 2.5" or less lifts on ecodiesel?

I installed the Mopar lift (latest rev w/ larger shocks) with a 1" teraflex spacer up front, and it ended up 2 3/4" lift from stock height for me. No more bottom out and the ride/steering are all much improved. With the bumper/winch (+95 lbs.) it sits fairly level with this setup.
  15. These switch knob covers any good?

My daughter bought me a set for mine, they fit snug and look like they came from the factory that way, same color (red). Two months and so far, so good.
  16. Veteran's Day

My father was Air Force, Uncle and cousins were Army, former active duty Marine myself, brother was Navy and my youngest son currently serving in the Air Force. Oldest son was active duty Army and contracts as an instructor for them. Our family has love for all branches and veterans. Thank you...
  17. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

I installed the Mopar lift on my JTRD 2 weeks ago.. no more bottoming out here. Hit the trails Sunday up in Citrus for half the day and still no bottoming out during some light wheeling. I changed my vote accordingly. Hopefully they get this issue squared away for you guys soon. edit- I had...

  19. Gladiator Diesel Bottoming Out Poll - Let’s get some numbers here.

My JTRD is a 6/21 build and bottoms out on potholes and speed bumps as well. I installed the terraflex jounce stops and it cushions it a bit. Maybe they should have installed hydraulic stops with the diesel Rubicons, or even all of them perhaps, like the Mojave.
  20. Do you even wheel ?

I agree 100%, I've been camping and trailing in Citrus for 20+ years and occasionally roll through Ocala National Forest. The wife and I are linking up with some friends next year for some overlanding out west.
