I wonder if the MC Game Changer 3.5" levels the truck as installed? I'd rather have a slight rake since plan on towing my track car with it, plus more weight back there with my RTT. Level unladen might create a squat condition which I don't want.
I’d guess it would. The JKS 3-3.5” had a slight, maybe 1/2” sag, just from the 37” spare tire weight. The ram 1500 rear spring mod made it perfect. I towed (300lb tongue) with a loaded bed this weekend and it was perfect. No sag whatsoever. Maybe even still a tiny rake.

Mopar lift w/1" TF spacer on front for level after bumper and winch, 35" BFG's. Rides great on/off road, height is perfect for me and the wife. Looks like plenty of room for 37's at this height, should I choose to get them the next go round. Hope this helps.

Nice ride, who makes the front spacer to level it out?

To me it’s just simple math. For example, going from a rubicon with 32.8” Falkens to 36.5” Mickey Thomsons is almost 4” of tire size. 2” of that is between the tire and the inner fender. That, plus the fact that the larger tires are wider, makes a 2” lift just enough to fit the tires. But now with larger tires, many of us are taking tougher lines, and therefore want better articulation without rubbing. It seems like 3” virtually guarantees function without compromise, and it’s not tall enough to change COG a lot like a 4.5 or above. A 2 or 2.5 lift will get the job done with 35’s, but will likely be just barely enough with anything much bigger.

The first picture is 32.8” Falken AT’s with stock Rubicon suspension. The second is JKS J Venture 3-3.5” lift springs in front, Ram 1500 springs in rear. Fox 2.0 shocks front and rear. Tires are 37” MT Baja Boss AT which are around 36.5”.

Did you talk with JKS to make the different RAM springs for the rear to be part of your "kit"? Coming from IFS/Toyota it's hard to wrap my head around all the parts and what needs to be adjustable in a Jeep lift kit. Spacers aren't technically a lift and will ride like hell. I'm interested in a kit where I have some spring choices to account for heavier weight in back with gear in the bed, RTT, fridge, etc, and eventually a smart cap later. I like the AEV Dual sport kit, ARB/OME, but open to others. Every time I think Ii have it down I see something different and "squirrel". JTR gas, and will be running 315/70/17 or 35s.

The shop I used for the lift and gears (trail Jeeps in Golden CO) knew of the ram 1500 spring mod for the rear. It was their immediate response when I said I wanted to tow and load up the bed with no sag. It’s not a JKS thing, but isn’t custom either. I don’t know the part number, but it’s definitely something you can order. I’m guessing it could be used with any true 3-3.5” lift. I just didn’t use the rear springs JKS provided. I was all set to buy the AEV dual sport as well. A different shop told me the brackets are junk. They said they remove a ton of those kits for customers. That was enough for me to move on from that option. I also have sumo springs replacing all of my bump stops to get rid of any bottoming out thuds. The lift is great, so I’ve only felt a bump stop one time so far. It was my fault, and the sumos made it cushy.

Great info man thanks a ton! The JKS route looks very reasonable and even is you had to buy a separate set of springs, doing it once is better than going back again later to fix it. Did you get everything directly from JKS?

Indirectly. Trail Jeeps ordered them for me, but didn’t mark them up. Same as online pricing. I did just order a rear drive shaft carrier bearing bracket from Dana Spicer. High pinion angle in rear with those springs. I’ll let you know how that goes, but should take 10 mins. If you share your email in a PM I’ll email you my parts list.

I went with the Falcon Sp2 3.5 and the Clayton Overland plus 2.5. Gobi Sport.
Install on the Clayton was cake. Did it in the driveway. Adjustable track bars and control arms.
Was able to get real close on things and then got to pro aligned. They were impressed with how close I got it. :like: Took 2 days due to the wiring for the shocks. Brain sits under the seat and wiring goes up to A pillar, into center dash, into engine bay, and all 4 corners of the JT. Will go to 37s once these wear down, but I have plans for my axles first and I am stalking gobi rubicon fenders. 35s the proportions feel just a tiny bit off.
Rides nice. Going to retorque this weekend.

To me @FR33DOM has the best combo of DD and wheeler. He sold me on the Clayton 2.5 lift and is running 37s on his rubicon. In my mind his is perfect. His is the red one.
They are like legos. It's great to see them all different.

Did he specify if they're just removing the control arm brackets or the entire lift kit? Was considering the AEV kit as well and already have the mopar lift lower control arms.

They weren’t that specific. They just said they’ve replaced that system for lots of customers. They really didn’t like the stamped manufacturing of the brackets. They referenced durability issues. They said they were geared towards being easy DIY kits. I don’t see why the mopar LCAs would be involved in the problems though. I pushed a bit, as AEV has a good reputation and uses these kits on their vehicle builds. They said AEV used to use 3rd party suspension in their builds, but probably profit more from using in-house components. Again, this is coming third party from a Jeep shop in Frisco CO. I have no direct experience with this lift. I was steered away after this conversation.

Ok, if it's just the brackets they could always be replaced with a different brand or with some adjustable control arms. Thanks.

Probably. But I’m thinking you end up with less travel. The brackets make it so you don’t need to address steering geometry, but do that by lowering the mounts, therefore giving you shorter shocks and springs than you’d get with a traditional lift. At least that’s my understanding. I addressed steering geometry with some Yeti Steersmarts components, giving me everything including good geometry. I was also then able to use fixed length front LCAs (JKS), eliminating that adjustment variable.
Here are a few pictures.

Thanks, I used the Terraflex spacer to level. At the time of my lift, there weren't many options for the diesel, so I went with Mopar lift (AC rev. with larger FOX shocks). I added geo correction brackets for more Caster.

I’m on the 2.5 AEV kit, stock rims/tires for the moment. Setup for Overlanding, will go 35’s. She lives most miles on pavement as a daily but handles the weekend trails just fine. Good luck OP!

Did this kit level it out pretty much? I have the AEV 2" spacer kit but looking to move to the 2.5" standard load springs all around. Yours looks great. I see you have a RTT so it may still have rake with nothing loaded? I just have a rack.

well i have the 2.5 aev kit with the brackets i had it on a rubi gas untill a 19 year old ran into me on the freeway at 100 mph totaled the jeep insurance would not pay for all parts added. Also aev would not help me out made me pay for all damaged parts, i needed one side of the geo bracket they made me buy both sides i bought a jtrd and had to buy diesel springs to use the kit a lot of money. but here is the deal the kit does not work on 37" out 4 wheeling the tires rub when you turn r or l on hills not on the fender the metal on the inside of tires im not happy with this company

Ram 1500 springs in rear.
Me likey. Can you be more specific? Factory? Year(s)? Any particular trim?
Did they soften or stiffen the rear?

And how's the tensioners on the Softopper? It's looking a little loose.
