I'm going to be running 37's on my Gladiator when it comes in, been looking around at kits. Is it better to get a kit with rear springs, or a kit with the spacers. Originally I was looking at kits with spacers because I got the Max Tow package and it comes with some heavier springs in the rear. Is this the right train of thought, or should I just get a kit with F/R springs?

Spacers are usually fine for up to 2 inches of lift, after that you pretty much have to go springs. 2 inches is enough for 37s though with some bump stops.

That 2" front or rear? I was looking at a 3.5" front, 2" rear.

I got a 2.5" Readylift SST lift kit on mine with Rubicon take off front springs. Kept my Rear Max Tow springs but that gives you about 3-1/4 up front and 2 in the rear and it looks like this on 37's. Rides and drives great. I'll be adding a adjustable track bar soon but other than that all I did was add Geo Brackets to control arms. Also Fox Steering stabilizer.

2 inch spacers, so it's gonna be 2 inches all around. If you want 3.5 you can go with something like rubi coils on the front and then 2 inch spacers all around. That will be really close to the 3.5/2 you are looking for.

Be careful with coil lifts, they rate off the Rubicon typically so you have to add an inch to their actual lifts. If you do want to go big though Clayton and AEV are both heavy duty higher than stock spring rate springs.

Nice stance, very similar to what I'm going for.
Are those factory wheels? no rub on the control arms?

Yes factory wheels. I got a Max Tow with wider axles like the Rubicon and Mojave so no they want rub with 37 12.5 17 tires. I am running 1.75 inch wheel spacers now but I ran 315 70 17 tires on them with no spacers and had no rubbing at all. If you don't got the wider axles then you will rub on the lower control arms.

Awesome, I'll have the max tow as well, still bouncing back and forth on aftermarket wheels or not. I actually really like the look of the factories

Me too! That's why I stayed with them and added spacers. If you got the stock black ones like me then I think it's a good look. I found a set like mine for sale local to me for $75, I'm considering buying them so 8 got a spare set in case one of mine gets damaged.

I only added the spacers to get a wider stance. I rode on the 315 70 17 wheels for about two months with no spacers.
This is what it looked like with just the 2.5" Readylift SST lift kit installed and 315 70 17 BFG KO2s no wheel spacers.
