If you are considering Clayton or metal cloak and have a diesel i would do a clayton. Metal cloaks springs are pretty soft and tend to sink a lot with diesel weight Claytons run a little tall so a 2.5 Clayton may be good for you I got the 3.5 from Clayton for me but i will be running 38s
I believe Clayton has a higher spring rate for their diesel springs. Additionally, they also have HD springs for the rear if needed. From what I've read, some change out their Metal cloak springs after they sag to Clayton's...

I have a 2.5 Clayton lift with 38s, no issues what so ever. I am thinking about putting a 1 inch spacer on it. No problem with 2.5 inch lift just wanting a little more.

I cant make up mty mind between a 2.5" and a 3.5" lift for my 2022 rubicon diesel gladiator. Ill be running the 37 k02s that are more like 35s I guess. Also in winter Ill prob be running a studded 35. This makes me lean towards the 2.5", but I do like how the 3.5" kits look.

I just moved from sea level to colorado. my house is at 8300' in evergreen with a long triple switchback driveway with southern exposure. Im going to work on the driveway but sometimes it does get iced up. the diesel doesnt have issues in the mountains so far, gets 25+mpg. I plan for this to be my daily right now, going to sell a grand cherokee i have. In a year or so Ill probably get an electric car for a smooth nice ride so the gladiator will be for snow or rain days, or just using the bed. It wont have to get the best ride but I would like as good of ride as possible. Ive heard many say get the steering stabilizer and pedal monster for the bigger tires.

Leaning towards clayton or metalcloak for the 2.5 or 3.5". If you have a 2 or 2.5 do you wish you had more? If you have a 3.5" do you wish you had less?

help a brotha out.
2.5" is ideal-- I have the same setup-- 3.5" and 37s KO2s look like roller skates... I have the Clayton 2.5" Overland Plus/diesel kit with Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks on 37x12.5x17 KO2s on Method 703s...

I wanna go with the 38’s as well but I’m absolutely not a fan of the Patagonia’s, don’t want a load range E tire (wanted Cooper stt Pro’s) and haven’t found what else is out there that’s readily available on the eastern side of the country. May end up with 37’s when I’m ready to make the move.

Knowing where and on what I wanted to play around on, I went with the Clayton 3.5" lift instead of the 2.5" one. I mostly went this route to get the belly of the land yacht up off the ground and more importantly, off the rocks.

I feel like you live your life one bump stop at a time. With any off roading in mind I think some more lift is necessary. I went 4.5” when I wanted to flex my 37s out. Couldn’t imagine 38s.
