I finally got my Rugged Ridge installed. Here are a few pics for anybody thinking about this top.
Overall I like it and it seems to be made well. You can very easily flip the front open and closed from drivers seat which is a nice feature. Although they say the top is not meant to be fully...
Yes! On hot summer days, I loved driving my JK's with doors off, windows out, but top up for shade when the sun is beating down hard. This would be a great feature for the JT.
Haha. Well I suppose that would be an easy way to clean your Jeep inside and out, all while taking a shower…
Keep us posted if/when you go fully open.
It looks good! Now I'm getting excited for mine to come in, and oh yeah the weather to warm up a bit more...
If you get a chance to share any video on opening/closing (including the back) or photos or any further thoughts, it is much appreciated.
Thanks for what you have shown so far! Looking forward to any more pics, videos you can post. Also, please share if/when you able to figure out about opening the back portion.
Well this sucks! The picture on Rugged Ridge website with the top completely opened is misleading. I know the text says the top flips back, but I didn't think that meant the whole top could not be taken off...
I still have mine on order, hoping that the back can removed and/or flipped forward...
I just ordered one today. 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, so hopefully I'll have it in time for spring. I couldn't stomach paying the price for the OEM top and not a fan of the man bun. So, I thought I'd give this one a try. Zippers can be problematic, but I had TJ's with zippers and as long as you...
Sorry for your bad luck and bad experience with your first Jeep. Don't let this sour you on Jeeps though. If they finally figure out the problem or you get it replaced under a lemon law, you will probably be glad you didn't give up on Jeep.
I'm on Jeep number 6 and they have all been amazing...
Hi, nice utilitarian look that matches Jeep. I also like how it doesn't sit too high over the cab and you keep your tailgate. Any pictures with it all closed up and ready for the road? Also looks like freedom panels can still be taken off?
Thanks for the info. I also like the idea of keeping the cool factory fox shocks, just worried about how strong the shock extensions would be if your offroading and bump it hard or come off a ledge hard. Also wondering what is the lift height where we need to worry about caster correction?
Hi Everyone,
I’m looking to put a lift of my 20 Gladiator Rubicon. I’ve already put 35’s on, but want more ground clearance and articulation for mild off-roading. However I need my Jeep to be good for long trips, and towing a little tear drop trailer.
The Mopar kit is too expensive for me and...
