To answer a few of your questions:
1. Power really isn't an issue with my Rubicon Gladiator, the 8-speed trans is very smooth and I always have power when I need it.
2.The 3.6L V6 is a very solid engine for this truck imo. I've easily gotten 22 mpg on the highway on 33's. I'm hopeful to still...
I also fell victim to the good reputation. But seemingly the only people who rave about Yukon are YouTubers who mysteriously have Yukon flags and merch hanging in their garages.
I sent back some Yukon parts after seeing the made in China tag on their gears. Pass! Plenty of other gear brands offer South Korean or USA made gears.
Donāt want the hurricane, very happy with 3.6L, but I would appreciate a stripped back off-road focused package that doesnāt cost an arm and a leg. Overall I want to see a reduction of tech and nanny software
I tested the code on some LOD rock sliders and it worked. Is your order over 70$? If so and itās still not working it might be the brand/product. I know some manufacturers opt out of certain sales or wonāt allow discount codes. Iām sure NR44 can clarify further though!
Knowing Jeeps electrical history, how long before the digital odometer and speedometer starts flickering and eventually stops working š
I legitimately cannot imagine a world where those things last longer than 5 years and thatās if you donāt get a lemon.
The duelers weigh about 33 pound per tire, Not sure if you're looking to go up in tire size, but the 265/70r17 Bfg Ko2 All terrains are about 1.5 inches taller than the stock Duelers and weigh 13 pounds extra per tire. Or the BFG Trail terrain in 255/65r17 which is only 39 pounds. Both options...
Iām a fan of the stock falken AT3ws that came stock on my rubicon, however they are decently heavy for the size and the At3ws are being phased out.
The BfG ko3 looks promising and are lightweight, pricey though.
I cant really speak to their quality because I sent them back, but alot of places online had me believe Yukon gears were made in the USA, I was sent made in China parts. I would have pretty much been ok with them being made anywhere else lol.
I've heard good things about Revolution. But you...
Gonna be honest Iām perfectly happy with the 3.6 v6 I hope it stays for a very long time. Isnāt the gladiator only 1 of 2 midsize trucks that doesnāt come with a 4 cylinder turbo?
I bought a used max tow package hitch receiver on FB marketplace and put in a ball hitch just so I could have some added rear end protection and hopefully discourage tailgaters š¤£
You definitely raise some very good points about preserving the warranty, and getting a brand new door or hood may not be such a bad thing, especially if by then I have excessive scratching or dents, which I already have a crap load of pinstriping all over my doors lol.
My Jeep is basically brand new, no corrosion, so im just curious if painting them now can save the hassle later. I also wonder if a late model 23 has this new dielectric between the doors and hinges, and if it even works.
I've always been disappointed that Jeep doesn't paint underneath the hinges, it makes sense from the assembly line perspective, but it really sucks for the actual owner of the Jeep. From my understanding, this unpainted section can start to corrode, and then travel up neath the paint on the rest...
