  1. Renting a 4 Runner. Thought about trading my Mojave for one....but...

The 2023 Tacoma and 2024 4Runner are the last offroad Toyotas I would consider. Their quality/reliability has absolutely tanked for their updated models, and have since moved to 4 cylinder turbo charged engines, hard pass!
  2. Advice on price for new 2023 Gladiator Rubicon

I thought I got a great deal getting 49k out the door for my new 23 rubicon, sticker was I think 65k! After taxes and fees yours will probably be close to that, depending on what state your in. I’m in california so lots of taxes and fees lol
  3. What are the "Must-Have's?"

They can be incredibly dangerous, even lethal, when used improperly(there's a reason there are guides titled "how to keep your Hi-Lift from killing you"), and are much more dangerous than a standard bottle jack. Also their most likely isn't even any safe points the Hi Lift can lift from on the...
  4. Bumpers

Most bumpers from reputable brands I think look good. It’s when you get the Chinesium bumpers on Amazon you get some funky designs.

Does anyone on here have the flat plate Rock hards? Rock Hard 4x4™ RHX Series Tube Slider Rocker Guards - Flat Step for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020 - Current [RH-80124] I guess im just a little worried they might stick out too far and look goofy?
  8. Pinstripe protection - looking for a temporary solution

You could always just polish your paint afterwards with something like scratch-x, it gets rid of 90% of a scratch to the point you can’t really see it. Its rarethat any scratch that doesn’t break through the clear coat. I’ve wheeled down so many tight trails over the years, it’s very rare to get...
  9. Is 200 pounds too heavy for a set of rock sliders?

Truth be told I have my 2 door for the crazy rock crawling. The Mopar performances will serve me for now I think. I can always sell them a few years from now and get frame mounted ones.
  10. Is 200 pounds too heavy for a set of rock sliders?

I think I’ve decided I’m going to pick up some Mopar Performance rock sliders. There’s a guy selling a brand new set for 500 bucks. I know they aren’t the beefiest, however I’m going to eventually reinforce them myself. I plan on welding on additional brackets that tie it into the body mount...
  11. Mopar performance sliders vs rock hard 4x4

If I did get them I might try to reinforce the brackets and weld on new brackets that tie into the body mount bolts.

  13. Fridge for bed under tonneau cover

Personally I cant stand coolers. Buying ice before every trip, buying more ice halfway through a trip, soggy food, having to dig through ice blindly searching for what you packed. Which especially sucks while winter camping, getting your hands ice cold and wet is no fun. i just personally do...
  14. Is 200 pounds too heavy for a set of rock sliders?

  15. Is 200 pounds too heavy for a set of rock sliders?

Hey all. I’m looking at some rock sliders, they weight approximately 100 pounds per slider. Is this considered too heavy for gladiator sliders?
  16. Mopar performance sliders vs rock hard 4x4

If you had the option between Mopar performance side steps and rock hard 4x4 angled up tube steps, which one would you go with? I like both for different reasons. I like how the Mopars look a lot better and the fact they protect the fenders. However I’m concerned they might not bump out enough...
  17. New Gears Maintenance

I would change the fluid. The way I see it, Your regear was expensive, gear oil is not. Even if it doesn’t do anything, why not?
  18. The complete spectrum of 2024 truck design in a couple photos . . .

I genuinely have zero idea why people are taking this seriously. If you go to the website you’ll find the image was created by carscoop. Unless carscoop secretly designs the official jeep vehicles then it means nothing. It’s a click bait article
  19. Are there any conflicts with engine skid plates with no lift?

Oh hell no! I’m gonna be on 37s and lifted haha. But it could be done in theory… this dude is a lot crazier than most, I was shocked to see him make it through the entire trail without body damage or any failures.
  20. Are there any conflicts with engine skid plates with no lift?

I’ve seen a lot of posts of people with smashed oil pans across the JK/JT forum, and people who have had transmission lines ripped out because they weren’t covered with a plate. Don’t want that to happen to me, there’s a lot of rocky trails out west. Im especially gonna need it when I start...
