Red Max Tow. No current mods.
Truck got hit a few weeks ago. It is being rebuilt at Mid Island. Probably will get it back in 6-8 weeks since parts are scarce.
Not sure if something like this would work, but we use these on the boat when running far offshore.
My boat only has a 77 gallon fuel tank which is good for about 40 miles out, and that is pushing it. We use these fuel bladders to extend the range. Not sure of the legality of using this in a...
Looking for pics of a stock sport (no lift) with Rubicon take off wheels and tires.
My truck is being repaired from an accident. I need a new tire and rim. Want to use this as an opportunity to replace with wheels/tires from a JLU.
I talked with the body shop again today. I confirmed that there is 0 frame damage, with the exception of there the bumper attaches (it part of the trailer hitch).
Additionally, the estimate will go up, as they still need to get the brake, drum and suspension components sorted out.
It does sound like a defect.
Headlights on = it's dark out = dim instrument panel
Wipers on = headlights on
I guess it is possible than when the headlights come on as a result of the wiper coming on that there is some sort of ambient light sensor that is misreading the light in the cabin and...
Current estimate is $13k to repair.
I'm going to talk with the shop today since I think a few things are missing.
The factory wheel is about $400 to replace with the tire coming in at $275. Then there is balancing on top of that. So let's call it $700. I'm going to see if they will just give...
Is there are Wiki on this site? I think it would be a good idea to create a wiki of things like this. So many times I have to dig through forums and read the entire thread to put together a clear picture of what to do.
ex: On a Sport model, how to trim the 'closure panels'; How to replace...
Tap is best option. I ran a screw through one of mine and did not like the results. A tap is made to eject the filings from the hole. It also cuts sharp. Running a screw just kind of compressed all of the bed liner gunk.
I'm lucky in that i have a bunch of machinist equipment. If you need a...
I think this would depend on the particular model tonneau you have. Some do not work with the factory bed-rails kit. Those that do not can usually be modified to work with it.
Knowing how software gets built and the fact that all car manufactures besides Tesla are not software companies, the U-Connect software is probably hacked to shit. I am sure there are lots of places in the code where values are either hard-coded or not written in a way for them to be able to...
I am hoping. Not sure how the process works, but I think once the SF adjuster meets with the body shop they come to a $ amount that it can be repaired for. Once that is established, not sure how well all of the $ is accounted for but I guess it would be possible to source take off Rubicon...
Yeah - total excuse. If he did not see it because of the glare, then all of the lights would be 'un-seeable' and thus he could not have seen the green light.
Also the car in the left lane travelling the same direction (was a 4 lane road with a shared turn lane) had come to a stop for the...
Suspension looked fine. It will definitely get a new exhaust. They are going to get in on the alignment machine Wednesday to see what is bent.
The body shop that I took it too is quite large and very tech-ie. My dad's friend owns it and they do really nice work.
More pics. Car is on its way to the body shop. My groundhog is strapped into the back seat. Hope the techs have a laugh.
Looking at the damage more, I think it's obvious that I basically drove over the Sienna's hood.
Maybe I should use this as an opportunity to get new tires. Maybe even a...
