"Toledo, Ohio" would be too conspicuous.
Encoding "heart 419" makes it more of an easter egg.
Do agree it's silly, and not sure why I am supposed to have love for the place of final assembly.
Lots of times the wires will not be present.
On the JL/JLU if there is no hard top, there will not be wires run to the back of the truck for the defroster and wiper. There is a kit though that you can buy to add it.
For the gladiator there is a slight chance that they ran the wire since...
You would probably even have to be careful with this approach. If someone were to see your removed markings in your back seat it could invite further suspicion, conspiracy theories, or even unwanted attention from law enforcement. Would be in a way like getting pulled over with a police uniform...
You can probably use the hardware on this catalog page (https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/126/2709) to create a mount that can attach to the the transfer case arm.
It would be pricey.
Also - The Jeep engineers ("Jeep Gods") created the slot between the cup holders for the key fob.
I made my own bedrails (another thread) and attached this ammo box to hold my ratchet straps and gloves.
I used a Harbor Freight box because its lid has a straight overhang. All of the real ammo boxes that I have, have an angled overhang on the lid.
I riveted on some wire rope to prevent it...
Fabric aside, I don't know if the gap between the door and the top is sealed. It would be great if it were because this would be a good starting point.
This one is not weather proof. You could start with the concept of it.
The one I am thinking of won't be cheap, but it will be exactly what I want. I want the complete 'top off' look that you see in all Jeep website pics and commercials. The place by me that does canvas work is fairly...
I'm basing the design off of the NAS Defender top. It used the Safari cage and an additional "hoop set" as a cross member. The gladiator will need this because there is nothing between the roll cage at the back of the cab.
I will post here when done. I could have a bunch made and shipped.
I am looking into having a local canvas shop make one for me. They are the OEM for Boston Whaler, so they have experience making tops. I want to use as much of the roll cage for support as possible. I also want it to fold down completely to the bed.
With the price of the factory top where it...
I wish that these laws, where they exist, would be enforced more often. This and headlight violations such as improperly aimed LEDs and driving with your high beams on.
I do agree that most of the aftermarket flares look rigged since they do not match the geometry of the vehicle. That said, I...
None.
Radio is 4 channels @ 4 ohms per channel. Factory 8 ohm speakers are wired 2 per channel in parallel. No crossovers. All drivers are full range.

EDIT: Good resource for all things JL/JT audio related...
Ok so did some quick math based on Albany NY. These numbers are probably not exact, but taking $75 off for dealer fee, $250 for reg and 1600 for your lease payoff I am guessing you paid about 3k in tax in Albany.
So they sold you this truck for about 39,500.
Invoice is 42,591.
You got about...
I have the JL wiring schematics. I am thinking the JT is the same with replacing the swing gate with the tailgate.
You can do that. I think I am going to put an over-ride switch in my glove box that will only allow the tailgate to unlock:
Vehicle Running and Secure Mode "ON" = FOB and...
