What size did you set your MTRs to? I set my MXTs to 36.7, which is the spec on their website, but my speedo is still off over 5mph. I need to reset my Tazer.
From reading, I know the MTRs are a big 37" tire, like my MXTs. They barely fit the spare tire holder but not inbetween the frame rails...
I like the looks of the Wheathertech better, but I have aftermarket wheels and 12.5" wide tires. I don't think I would get the coverage I need. So, I just ordered the Rokblokz XL fronts. Hopefully, they won't look too bad.
I'm looking also. May order the front Rokblokz. I filled up my door handles with mud yesterday. Full, as in every bit of space between the handle and the door! Trying to get out of the Jeep without smearing mud on the back of my pant legs wasn't fun either!
Washed it for the third time since yesterday. Still didn't get all the mud off from the melting snow mud slinging off road trip.
At first serious rain, I'm looking for water filled truck ruts on the hi way. That may get it.
I may have to go this route. 37" Mastercraft Courser MXT fits in the spare mount, but will not tuck all the way up between the frame rails. Not good for my OCD!
I am no expert on lifting Gladiators, but I'm going to say no. I would get adjustable arms with that amount of lift. The Mopar arms are for their 2" lift, are not adjustable, and only slightly longer.
I've been wheeling this area for years and recently sold my TJ and bought a JTR. It's huge.
I am just curious what trails you have taken your JT on.
Post any pictures if you have them.
Last year, we just cleaned up some camping areas during the Covid cancelled Pick up a Mountain weekend.

Not much compared side by side to the stock arms. 1/8"-1/4" longer if I had to guess. A little bit goes a long way. I was looking at all the aftermarket arms and they are pretty spendy. If these are good for the Mopar lift which nets 2.5"+ I thought I would give them a try for $30 ea. The...
With that much lift, you will need to get some caster back. Either adjustable control arms or geo correction brackets. Also at 3.5" you are at the limit of the stock front driveshaft.
I also have to agree on the crappy RC shocks. Had them on a JK and two of them blew seals.
For what it's worth...
