Rough Country 3.5 Suspension Lift questions

Hey everyone, pretty new to modding jeeps. Purchased a JTR recently and really wanted it to be taller so i went out and purchased a RC 3.5 inch lift and some 37s. My question for you all is will i need more than what the lift kit provides in order to be driving properly? Am i missing any absolute necessities? Thanks!

Looks like that's everything you need. I just had 37's installed on mine but only got a 2.5" Ready lift and Rubicon take off suspension installed. The only thing I would suggest is maybe keeping your stock Fox shocks instead of installing the Rough Country shocks. I like Rough country stuff but I ran a set of their shocks before on my JKU and they crap. Maybe look for some shock extensions for your fox stock shocks because I'm willing to bet they ride better.

Honestly they all are pretty much in same playing field as far as quality goes. Whichever ones you go with should probably come down to cost. I had a set of rough country shock extensions on my JKU for 6yrs and had no issues out of them. I gave them to a buddy who's had them on his jeep for the past year since I sold my JKU. Just a suggestion, I haven't searched for any for the JT yet.

I'm running those shocks in the front right now and they do not work well with just spring install lift. I have AEV geo correction brackets on order and Fox 2.0 remote resi to replace the RC shocks.. hope this fixes the jolting bumps, RR tracks and pot holes.

Yeah rough country shocks are crap IMO, they rode like crap on my JKU. I removed a set of pro comp shocks to add the rough country ones and ended up getting shock extensions and going back to the Pro Comp ones.

With that much lift, you will need to get some caster back. Either adjustable control arms or geo correction brackets. Also at 3.5" you are at the limit of the stock front driveshaft.
I also have to agree on the crappy RC shocks. Had them on a JK and two of them blew seals.
For what it's worth, I am also new to the Gladiator thing after lifting and wheeling a JK and TJ.
I am in the process of seeing what it can do, where it will fit, and what I really need.
I'm testing things out with minimal cash burning until I figure it all out. I have the RC 2.5" front spacer lift with shock extensions and sway bar links-$129. Daystar .75" rear spacers-$39. And Mopar 2" lift lower front control arms-$60. Rides great and room for 37's. I'm only out a couple hundred bucks if I want to change everything, or just get rid of it and go back to a small Jeep. I don't thing that's going to happen! I've only had it off road a couple times, and it seems to do great so far.

I am no expert on lifting Gladiators, but I'm going to say no. I would get adjustable arms with that amount of lift. The Mopar arms are for their 2" lift, are not adjustable, and only slightly longer.
