Any one heard any rumblings on if this special edition package is coming back? With Memorial Day coming up, seems if it is an announcement would be around the corner.
Interested in this question as well, for Earl at least. I had not heard that High Velocity was coming to the Gladiator. Wondering if anyone knows how many paint bays Jeep keeps running vs the colors that are on offer. With the current *limited edition colors of Gobi and HV being on offer now...
A bit underwhelmed and disappointed with this year's concepts. Was hoping for a preview of a Gladiator extreme recon package, and instead we got a hideous red bumper.
Also, when will Jeep actually offer a blacked out tailgate sticker pack from the factory. They keep showing them on concepts...
Differentials, whether open or limited slip have nothing to do with solid axels. You can still have a LSD in IFS or even independent rear suspension (look at the Torsen front diff in an F150 tremor/raptor or the limited slip rears in the expeditions or Tahoes - if we are just sticking to...
Thank you. I can see wanting something a little wider, but this is probably the best compromise for something that actually offers a step surface while staying up tight to the body and clean lines.
It seems that you really should wait to pick these up either through a used find or during a...
It is interesting the the aftermarket has not come up with a drop replacement that has this combo. One that would allow you to either use the existing switching or if you don't have a locker to start, sell an electronic actuator kit as an add on. We are talking about a ton of vehicles out there...
LSDs are being phased out generally across all vehicles (aide from premium sport car offerings at an additional uncharge - think Porsche and S model Audis, and the sole holdout in the truck world seems to be on vehicles marketed for towing) for costs reasons. The BLD systems are a few line of...
I think everyone is overlooking the real reason. Only the smartest, manliest, and thriftiest individuals can possibly handle the responsibility and privilege of driving a max tow JT. Jeep knows that there are so many worthy drivers out there, so they keep the stock low and hide them away from...
I am not sure what you are meaning to say here. LSDs don't stop working once you are moving, in fact that is the biggest advantage of them over open diffs with a full locker. They are 'always' on. And while JTs are never going to be corner carvers, an LSD will provide the same type of benefits...
It appears the front trail cam can only be optioned on the Rubi and Mojave if I am to believe the configurator?
Also, for whatever reason, the configurator won't let you add both the gloss back grill and the trail cam. I would assume there would be no reason you could not just buy the gloss...
I am sure that is true. But ... many (if not most) of the mods people do their jeeps are not truly needed right?
I too have some history with Subarus, and while not the amazing STI drivetrain, aside from Audi they are the best AWD out there in my opinion (again STI aside - RIP, honorable...
I think I know the answer to this (which is at the moment appears to be a no) - but what if you took a Mojave and swapped in a helical LSD into the rear, but then took your factory e-locker and dropped it in the front diff?
If this was done during a re-gear, one would assume the labor charges...
I would not trust what the dealer says - only what their system allows them to configure for a real order.
Not saying the above isn't true, but if it is - that would be a disappointment.
I had not been looking at an Altitude (was confused what it even was as many others seem to be) but after...
Don't have these in a Gladiator (yet) but if they have fit in the rear seat of my current GTI - you will be good. Took them to a test drive, and others have reassured me in similar posts.
I have a Diono Radian 3QXT which has the infant inserts and can be used from infant all the way up to a...
