Ok. I'm not in a huge rush, just wanted to get it out of the garage, and put the $ towards a new RTT. I may reach out to him, and see if he's still interested.
Hey Nick, just wondering if you're still coming out this way this weekend.
I have a local guy interested in the cover, so just let me know either way.
Thank you
I can't speak for having lockers, but I do have a Max Tow as well with the LSD, and I love it. I've towed a lot, rock crawled, done a good bit of driving in the snow, and have a little over 76K on my JT. Me personally, I'd probably keep the LSD in the rear, and maybe put a locker in the front...
Oh, duh... My wife is from that area. Let me know a little later in the week what your plans are, and which route you'll be taking. Cabela's is right off of 78, if you're coming that way.
I live out by the Cabela's in Hamburg. And no, it does not require any trail rails. It mounts with two brackets (included) at the front of the bed, and two spring loaded clips in the rear.
Since I am pretty much done with my DIY cap, I am putting my Mopar tonneau up for sale. I have only used it part time for less than a year, and the owner before that only used it occasionally. There are no cracks or tears, and all the hardware is included. Shipping is probably not practical, so...
Thanks man! I was actually hesitant about it too, and I am anxious for it to fade out a little bit. Hopefully it'll match the 4 yr old soft top pretty closely.
Oh, haha! Yeah, I have no idea what it can handle weight wise, but I'm sure it's more than I would feel comfortable putting on top of my Jeep. It's a tank.
I'm not an expert by any means, but I do know that any trailer that we used to have that was over 80" wide, needed the three little marker lights in the middle and one on each corner.
Got the rest of the struts installed, got most of the gaps sealed up including the tailgate, and installed rear marker lights in accordance to DOT requirements. I never realized my jeep was over 80" wide until I read the thread that popped up recently about the guy that got pulled over and...
I was actually going to go that route before I decided to build an entire cap, except in reverse because I had the top and not the roof rack. I have it on the Marketplace for $600 but I would do $500 for a forum member.
