My 4th passenger side light just died on me yesterday. I'm going to reach out to them but the date code on the light is 8/2022, so it probably won't be covered. I ended up putting the factory halogens back in.
I have the JCR version, and I love it. Sturdy as heck. I have my GMRS mounted to it, and I store my winch controller and rechargeable flashlight on top.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe you will have to cut off and reweld the 392 motor mounts onto the JT frame. I've contemplated this same swap, and I would want to do it the same way as you are, with a wrecked 392 JL.
It's actually MIG through a Harbor Freight OmniPro 220. I have yet to try my hand at TIG, but I really want to try it. And unfortunately, I do not do this professionally. I am just a self-taught, shade tree fabricator that likes to build stuff.

Thank you. I wanted it to match the lines and angles of the Jeep, and be purpose built for what we do. There will be a lot of little things going on once I get a little further along, which I'll do my best to show via photos.
I just looked that heater up. Solid looking unit. I like the intake/exhaust setup to eliminate condensation and that it runs on propane. Salty, but I'm sure you'll put it to good use.
No pictures today, but I got the passenger side of the top made up and welded together. Hopefully tomorrow I can have my son help me put it on the Jeep for a test fit.
