Hello,
As some of you may have seen, I like to build things, mainly focusing my work around Camping/Overlanding and traveling. I built an overlanding trailer last year and we have used the heck out of it since. Since we typically travel with our dogs, I had put a Softopper on the Jeep, and for...
I believe it's an extra bracket they added to increase crash safety. Supposedly it helps with keeping the front axle from crushing into the passenger footwell.
Hey John, not sure how far you'll be from Flagpole Knob, but that was an an awesome trip and the view was spectacular. We took the route from the Union Springs side (the harder side they say) and it was awesome, especially since I towed my trailer up to the top.
Wow. I really like this top, especially how big the windoors are. I'm in PA, so picking this up isn't really feasible at the moment, but I will keep this model on my radar. Good luck with the sale.
That's what I went with when the 2.0's did the above. I went with the 5160's (remote resi/non-adjustable) front and rear. Love them so far, and no leaks. I think I got them for around $800 for a set of 4.
This trail is definitely on my bucket list. I did Flagpole Knob earlier this year, and it was an awesome trip. I hope you get some people to go, and you have a great time.
I put a sub in a buddy's Plaid Model S which required me to have it for a few days, and I must say, they are scary fast. It is a remarkable piece of equipment.
I tapped into mine and use it to trigger my Oracle Sidetrack lights (puddle lights). It's nice having the option to turn them on and off without having to open the door.
Datin has one that works over the Softopper.

Are you meaning to say Caster, or Camber? Camber is not adjustable on these solid axle trucks. If your Camber is out of spec, there's most likely something wrong. Caster is the amount in which the rear is rocked forward or back on its axis thru center of the axle shaft. Camber is what kids are...
I had my upper drag link replaced under warranty due to the same noise/movement you showed in your video. This helped for a while, but I ended up replacing the entire set up with 1-ton steering linkage from Rusty's because I was getting some play in my outer tie rod ends.
Also, if you're having...
You should be fine, especially with the V-Nose. I pull my 2,000lb 4x6 with lots of wind catchers and I have no issues. I'm on 35's, but have the MaxTow 4:10's. Safe travels and have fun!
