While I don't think they are ugly, I do agree with the rest of this post. I've had half doors with all my CJs and my YJs. Busted zippers and fogged, scratched plastic windows suck. I'd rather go without doors. Jeeps are like motorcycles, if you drive one long enough you're going to get wet. Just...
Ok maybe better wording on my part then. You don't have to have a back/leg/arm handicap. Insufficient lung capacity or poor circulation will do it too. Just because someone doesn't LOOK handicapped doesn't mean they are not. My mother (66) can climb into my truck just fine, walking from the back...
Lazy
Most likely ignorance.
Exactly my point.
I know what they mean when they write lugs but someone new to this may not. Correct nomenclature should be a priority in this setting. If you don't know what something is just ask. Giving incorrect information doesn't help the novice, they just go...
I think the issue is the stud size. Everyone keeps saying "lugs" but I assume they mean "lug nuts". The wheel from a JK is 5x5 just like the JT, as long as you use the lug nuts from the JT it shouldn't be an issue.
The only thing about the JK wheels I have found is the backspacing is small...
Looks like the ones from DV8 are pinch seam mounted only, I may be wrong though. I kind of like the look of the Mopar ones but damn! For a $1000 I can have custom ones made. Guess I'll wait it out. Thanks
I like the way the factory rails cover the pinch seam entirely from end to end. All of the aftermarket stuff I have seen thus far has only covered it where they bolt up. Do the Rock Hard rails cover the entire seem? From the pic on their site it doesn't look like it does.
Yeah even the factory rock rails are curved. What rails are those? I'm looking for something that will mount to the body mounts, shaped like the ones in your pic and still capable of using the factory rails with them.
So I want to extend an invitation to you guys to come and ride with me and some friends of mine. It would be nice to have another JT on the trails with me for a change. As of now the list looks like this...
02/01 Lake Houser ORV park
02/29 Broken Nut ORV park
03/14-03/15 Beasley Knob in Ga...
I wired mine that way. Wired one light to the other then ran one lead to the box. As for cutting the power when the truck is off. Using a switch powered lead instead of the battery should do that.
