Thanks! I love them, they are definitely bright and light up the night behind you. They had some issues with connectors and wire lengths early on but those have since been resolved. If you’re looking for an upgrade def jump on it. I paid the extra for the plug n play harness bc I didn’t want to...
I actually just had a problem with them this weekend and this thread reminded me that I need to reach out to @ORACLElights about it. Apparently there might be a bad connection, or a short of some sort in the lights or plug. My wife was following me home on the highway and noticed that the Oracle...
I'm a big fan of the GearAmerica stuff. Great folks and USA company and I see them about all the big Jeep events. They make some great aluminum shackles and snatch blocks. I purchased their new Ring and went with the US Sourced version which is ironically cheaper right now than the overseas...
Wow the trailer tow package has legit doubled since when I ordered April 2021. And it still doesn't come with the mopar trailer brake controller, even more of a rip off!
I’m sorry to be the first to say it but I wouldn’t do a 2.5” level kit or anything lift from Rough County. They are the crap of the crap and anyone that chimes in in defense of RC is going to be an owner of it that takes offense. Exaggeration? Yes a bit! But they are a total shit lift company...
When you say HPG, do you mean the HGP (Hyperformance glass)? I’m not being a smart ass on acronyms. I didn’t know what HPG was so when I googled I saw the hyperformance and I’m guess that’s what you meant. Just curious!
Several of the 3.6 motors on Stellantis different vehicles are not coming with the cover. I know for example on the GCL there are certain trims that didn’t have it but most now do not. No idea what shortage caused this one but it’s just another example of how crazy this stuff can get.
Truth!
You're harping on what I said earlier. Ridiculous that the system allows a dealership to total null and void the warranty. How that doesn't have more approvals at a higher level is beyond me.
As soon as I read that part of the post I thought oh man he's toast. They are gonna say that...
100% agree, I never saw the results of most. I know one took several escalation emails to Jeep and it was removed months later. Another was engaging the lawyers because the dealer went the route of "sorry can't change it now".
Dude, I'm telling you it has literally already happened. Several times. I'm not hypothetically saying it could. People have already had this happen to them. I understand what you're saying. If I have a bent frame from factory they can't, or shouldn't be able to, deny it and void my warranty...
Oh they 100% absolutely can and will! There have been numerous folks both here and on FB that have gone in for something and the dealership ends up tagging the vehicle in the system and voids the vehicles ENTIRE warranty. It is a complete bitch to reverse that takes a lot of engagement with Jeep...
As I just noted above, EXJ is the diesel. You won't see EXJ on anything other than the order guide, it's just the sales code for that motor. If you have a Diesel and it's a Rubicon you're all set.
Must be an employee, or has already been to the dealership. I wasn't aware of a way we could access STAR publications like we can for something like TSBs.
Yes, the bottom line literally says EXJ (diesel) AND 26R (rubicon package). So you much have the diesel motor and be a Rubicon Trim.
Doesn't matter, the STAR case is specifically for Rubicons with the diesel motor only.
So I have seen! We have a 2022 GCL Summit on order and all the issues in reading over on the WL forum are mind numbing. My build is still in C (ordered on 11/24) so hopefully it’ll have the updates installed from the factory and I won’t need to head back to the dealer just weeks after buying!
@JeepCares What are the repairs noted in the “assist dealers in making repairs”? And what about us that had cases opened and closed without resolution and had to put on our own lifts?
