A lot of you point out a negative that once battery power is gone all you have is the i-4 gas engine powering it but Jeep already thought of that and have stated that a large chunk of that battery power is reserved for driving assistance of the engine that will last the same as a tank of gas...
Reality is the stock will save you if you need it on road for a very short distance if it is a smaller size than your other 4. If you plan on off roading don't get stuck off the beaten path with two different size tires and try to get home and expect your differentials to stay intact. Having two...
LMAO, I'm in Orlando, we'll just moved to Ocala and I thought you were going to rant about the I-4 interstate! I do hate that road, it's getting better but damn that road. And apparently my disdain for the I-4 road is equal to the Jeep I4. Lol.
No, with most having colored fenders you can keep those as the "lip" on the fender for the max tow part is separate from the painted portion but I do know you'll have to get an automatic transmission and it will have to be the gas engine, no diesel.
Your must have of Manual eliminates the Max Tow and selec-trac so I would get the tow package, Aux switches and Gorilla Glass upgrade $95 for Gorilla Glass is way cheap.
The hell with this thread. Makin me all mad at my single car garage. :headbang:
I mean it's the same as complaining you don't have an eleventh finger for your 11 diamond rings...lol
Brought home a 700+# hot tub on a 70 mile trip. Surprisingly one of the most stable the truck has driven. I was really worried as 4 of us rested the edge on the tailgate and lifted then slid it home.
Let me start off by saying this first, I am not trying to hate on your bumper/skid. I love the look and if I could afford it I would probably get the same one. But my question is, what is the purpose of the skid plate on this bumper or most bumpers, if all it does is "Skid" things straight...
Sorry for being completely clueless on why some of these parts are needed but I did notice on the Core 4x4 one is says it's for lifts from 0-4". Some things I get that you need with greater lift so you can center the axle under the truck again but why would someone need either of these two if...
I've seen rally drivers flying thru single tracks at ungodly speeds with both hands on the wheel working back and forth and when they need to shift just bring that right hand down, smack the shifter and back up to the wheel both hands. I have even started doing this during road driving to get...
I'm sorry I necro'd your thread, but this just happened to me I had to pop the surround on the transfer case shifter off, there is a plastic retention piece that the cable slipped out of. I pushed the lever forward and maneuvered it back into the retention spot and it shifts normal again...
Just remember what most said on the first page. You will be better off with more capable tires for off road, and the folks claiming to lift the truck, don't, unless you can't fit the size of tires you need at flex because it won't help your needs much.
Larger tires will lift your differentials...
