Here are the door sticker numbers:
6450 (GVWR) - 944 (payload) = 5506
Add 70 for skids = 5576
My CAT weight was 5700 (full tank & DEF, no passengers)
So the lift kit and bigger tires added 124#
Mystery solved. I appreciate all the feedback!!
Just saw another post that says payload is 973 and curb weight is 5477. So, 5700 (CAT) - 5477 (curb) - 70 (skids) = 153 (lift & tire difference). That's a bit more believable . And with GVWR at 6450, I still have 750 to work with for the build.
I did not weight it stock, that's why I asked if anyone else weighed theirs stock. I only added a lift kit, tires, and 70# of skids. It doesn't add up.
Specs say the base weight is 5,072. I added the Mopar 2" lift kit, Falken 35x12.5 MT's, and ASFIR skid plates (70#). I just weighed in at a CAT scale at 5700#, full tank, nothing in the Jeep, not even me. How did it get that heavy? And with GVWR at 6,250 I'm now worried about adding Alu-Cab...
That was it! The wire harness was disconnected. It looked like it was on purpose. The harness frame attachment was disconnected and that would not have just fallen out. Any idea why it may have been disconnected intentionally?
Thanks!!!
I have read everything I can find on this. With nothing plugged into the bed outlet, I double press the switch under the headlight switch panel, it blinks five times, goes off. Outlet does not have power. Nothing I have tried makes the damn outlet work. The outlet behind the console works...
I've done two long road trips and noticed on both that about once an hour the A/C will blow hot outside air for about a minute, then return to normal operation. I use Auto mode and recirculate is off. Recirculate off should allow a little outside air at all times, not a blast of outside air...
I just had the same exact thing happened to me. The radio lowered, it dinged a few times and the radio went back up. I do not have the phone connected by android auto, all other warning sounds are off, no dash lights, nothing on radio, no favorites.
This method worked on my 2021 JTR with OBDLink LX and JScan app. After connecting the security cable and JScan app, select Adaptation>Auto Stop/Start (ESS) - settings>Auto Stop/Start - On/Off (Hood Ajar Switch Input Present) and set the value to Deactivated. That effectively disables Auto...
Hey gang! My first Jeep and I'm LOVING IT!!! Have had two RAM 2500 4x4 Long Bed Diesels in the last 20 years. Had to buy a Nissan LEAF daily driver because the RAM was such a PITA to park. Don't know why I waited so long to get the Jeep, but damn glad I did.
Just picked up this '21 JTR...
My first Jeep and my first forum post!
Just picked up this '21 JTR two weeks ago. Only 10 months old, 12,800 miles, came with Mopar 2" lift, 35's, custom headliner, tint, spray bedliner, 100k mile extended warranty. "HereWeGo" is my retirement plan. Heading to Overland Expo East in October...
