I've read a ton of posts about this problem and they all point to possibly a bad battery. I've had the ESS and Aux Switches not available battery charging message for a couple of weeks. Just got it back from the dealer they said both batteries checked out OK no codes couldn't find anything wrong...
BEWARE! Someone PM'd me regarding this member, said he is no longer active and gave me an email address. I sent email and was told "send 2500 to Venmo and I'll ship it to you". Of course nobody is going to ship a canopy for free, and when I questioned who he REALLY was, got no response...
Bought a full set, then decided to do a rear seat delete. This rear mat goes over the hump. It's brand new, in the box, never opened. Retail is $80 plus shipping, will sell for $50 plus shipping.

EDITED TO CORRECT WIRE COLOR 2023-06-22
The AVO shop guy told me this. Haven't done it yet. The wires that come out of the tailgate, follow them to underneath the bed. The white with green stripe wire is the brake, connect red wire. Ground it anywhere.
They run a wire to the battery for the...
Thanks for the photos and video. Not sure why I have more space than the rest of you. An install guy from AVO is supposed to call to tell me how they do the shims. They don't follow the AC instructions.
Here is the space I have available without it being bolted down.
Same here. I moved it back so the rubber flap met the tailgate, but the canopy hung off the bed rail. Moved it forward to where it is now so the metal lip of the rear door is about 1/4" from the tailgate. The rail seal on the front end is centered on the bed rail. That seems to be the...
It's not too many shims. I only added one more shim than what was needed to fill the space between the two halves of the mounts. The gap I have is similar to what @Jglad15 showed a picture of.
Got my canopy yesterday. Install was fairly easy, but the new mount design using carriage bolts didn't match the instructions. Didn't take long to figure it out. I also have the short bolt problem and one of the window latches was broken. Have asked AVO for replacements. I also have a...
Where did you get 5 x 5 plywood?? Did not know that was even available. Today's project is to make this bed plate from 4x8 sheet, but would MUCH rather have 5x5.
Solar panel is on top of the RTT. Need to get the panel's wire routed to the truck bed (inside the canopy) where the battery, controller, etc are located. Aside from drilling a hole in the canopy, I can't figure out how to route it.
I'm getting a Contour Canopy, RTT, and solar panel. How do you route the solar panel wire to get it inside the canopy to hook it up? I have looked at dozens of canopy pictures and searched this forum, but cannot find an example.
