I adjusted them a little higher. Just kept fiddling with the various screws until it got to where I like it. When I go to bigger tires I'll adjust again, and I think I'll use the washers like you did.
I cut an allen wrench down and chucked it in my drill. Used a spare bolt to run in and out a couple times, then used a new bolt for the attachment. Factory bedliner.
Absolutely going to bigger tires. When I scraped it up on the trail I was on 32"s. They were near the end of their life (got them used), so the stock tires went back on. Have 1.5" spacer on front, .75 on back. Just saving up for 35's. And lower control arm skids.
So I bought the Rancho differential guards after scraping a lot on the last trail. They have a front skid listed for the gladiator, but it says it fits a Dana 30. As far as I know, all gladiators have a Dana 44 on the front. So I ordered the RS62116 for the front. Bolted up perfectly, but...
All sorts of winch goodies. Snatch block, tree saver, more clevis hardware. And a nice set of tire deflators! No more being the last guy ready for the trail.
Wife got me quickfists for Christmas, so I finally got to install my recovery tool! It's a "rhino" (wildland firefighting tool) modified my by academy mate with a custom wood-and-carbon-fiber long handle. It will stay inside most of the time, only coming out for special occasions.
Daughter's Christmas present is an entire bedroom makeover. Hauled all the new flooring and paint today. Purple! Picked up a HVLP spray gun to make it go faster. Then grabbed the Christmas Tree on the way home. I love having a pickup truck!
