Thought about something like this. My winch sits nestled into the bumper. Something like this would fill the gap between the bumper and the hoop. My bumper looks like this from the front:
Now this is a different idea. Thanks!
The CAFE standards are AVERAGES. So help yourself and encourage your NEIGHBORs to buy Compass's and Wrangler 4xe's and pray that the 2026 Gladiator looks much like it does now. Maybe with better axle seals and no more death wobble...
Basically this is what I am thinking - trying to avoid the part hanging under the bumper - will get ripped off in snow up here but yes this is in the pile of ideas I am gathering. Thank you
First - nice to make your acquaintance. Second - I too have the parks plate - GREAT plate. Third - you have proposed something very interesting but I don't think it would work on my bumper which looks like the picture below. I also though about folding the plate to conform to the flat...
thanks! That could work although it would get ripped off hitting snow banks - the kind left in your driveway by the city plow truck. ? But definitely a goo starting place? Maybe I could make something that hangs on a hing, or by rubber straps... interesting hadn't thought about hanging the...
I prefer the "in channel" style. If you look carefully below you will see I have vents installed on my rear door window. I didn't want them on the front...
I think they look cleaner overall and they stick pretty good even for cheapo amazon stuff.
I have an ARB Bondi Deluxe front bumper and my winch has a Factor 55 Pro-E link up front. See picture below. Now that I have true mall cred, and the poke on that thimble has reassured me about my... um.... size...., I need to figure out what to do with my front license plate. I live in a...
Agree. I have the SS3 Pro Fogs in yellow. If they had offered the backlight I would not have optioned that feature - wiring hassle and IMHO unnecessary. Up north we think about this in the winter but would you want yellow DRL look in the bright summer sunshine?
Also - the Pro's are awesome...
I have put just over 20K miles on my JTR 6MT - dealership installed the Mopar 2" as a warrantied dealer installed option along with my chosen wheels and 35s. Since then I have added an Ace Upper Decker, Rockhard 4x4 Sliders, ARB Bondi Deluxe and a SmittyBilt X20 Comp (synthetic rope, Gen 2...
I have the Pro Comps in Polished Al - which is what I think you used to have. Just curious about what you mean when you say you didn't like the offset. Too much poke? Just curious. I love them although I did eventually get some RockBlokz b/c the dirty door handles was killing my daily drive...
If you have an accident (side impact, overturned etc) and you have door pins am I correct that you are basically relying on your doorlocks since the pins do not prevent the doors from sliding upwards? IMHO those door pins are waiting for an insurance company to deny a claim... Now where is...
I think you and I are already saying the same thing. The scraping would not have caused the frame issue, but certainly it is evidence that this vehicle has been driven in a way that tests its limits. I think the problem I have overall is that a lot of us have probably scraped their trailer...
