Nice! The smart cap is on my radar although am really thinking the decked single drawer system would be a useful upgrade.

Can you estimate the additional weight you have added. I am asking because @Flyin6 got me thinking about weight & optimal gearing. I am considering the decked system which I think is a +200lbs not to mention a rack system and upgraded from and rear bumpers over time and based on use...

I think it will be dependent on what you expect to be loading into your bed over 800lbs since the extra 200 can make or break if loading up. I like the idea of the storage for gear that is reasonably secure and out of general view for the activities I do. I am still hung up on the bed depth...

The single drawer system is 200lbs - interesting that they advertise that it does not impact bed yet it does by 200lbs. It's a tradeoff like anything else. Need dependent for sure.

A option to put side rails to regain the lost depth would be the solution. That's what I am looking for to make this work.

I remember my grandfather had the wood\metal rails on his work truck to extend the depth. That is essentially what I am thinking.

I am interested in this as a storage option but need to research rack systems that will help reclaim bed depth. Interested if anyone has gone the route or is considered the same. Cheers!

Are you seeing good deals in your area? There are lots of variables... I thought I had a decent deal late last year getting $12,500 off MSRP and getting most of what I wanted. This helps when you spend all the money you saved on MODS ;)
