With the Garmin you can update the maps for free as roads/speed limits change, not free on any of the automakers navigation system I know of.

I knew that was false range readings until the computer had more mileage data, now it reads about 300-370 after fill ups.

My MPG not so good, but the range is fantastic. After some more milage and fill ups, the computer range calculation are not so optimistic.
