  1. 93 mile Roundtrip 27.3 MPG

Most of the comments in here are from diesel gladiators.
  2. Warranty work while tuned

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act DOES NOT prevent FCA from denying warranty coverage for stock parts that were not affected by the aftermarket parts. It may be the case legally but FCA can deny any vehicles warranty. Then it would be up to you to take them to court and then the burden of proof...
  3. 93 mile Roundtrip 27.3 MPG

If I cruise at 55-60mph I can get in the high 20s, sometimes even close to 30. But right now I'm averaging 17mpg and my Jeep is stock. I'm afraid of what'll happen in a couple weeks when I put on the 4.5" lift and 37s.
  4. Which second vehicles compliment the gladiator best?

I actually want a 7.3L diesel excursion. Just getting harder and harder to find one.
  5. New Guy / Weird Dealer Experience

I would just order what you want from gupton Motors. I actually went through Mall of GA Jeep and didn't have to deal with any of the BS you listed. It was the best car buying experience I've had. Everything was as we discussed through email and all the numbers matched at the time of pick up...
  6. Nitto Ridge Grapplers vs Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT

I had the 37x12.5 Ridge Grapplers on my JK for 60k miles. They were great in everything but mud and rain. They just get caked in mud... But over rocks they were great. In the rain, they were ok. You could easily break the rear end out when taking a right turn. But it wasn't anything too...
  7. Real world MPG, what are you getting in your Diesel?

I'm averaging about 17mpg on my stock Rubicon with the Mopar steel bumper. Nothing wrong with the truck, just the way I drive I guess.
  8. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

The prices seem to have increased a lot since I ordered. Just the steering wheel is $100 more. The others are around $15 more each.
  9. Gladiator or another brand for a work truck?

I personally wouldn't get a gladiator for a work truck, especially if you have one already. If I didn't have to drive long distances I'd probably get a bare bones, single cab F150 with the 5.0 v8. You can order a bare bones one for under $35k.
  10. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

Can you confirm if the radio buttons still work?
  11. Factory 4.10's in the diesel?

I can confirm that I chose basically every option when building my diesel and it comes with 3.73 gears. The diesel does not come with 4.10 from the factory.
  12. Any Advice for a first time New Jeep buyer?

Test drive both back to back. Once you do, you'll make your choice. If you don't want to spend the money on a diesel, don't test drive it.
  13. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

I wonder if this would work with the diesel? I'm hoping so since I've already ordered all the parts.
  14. We are driving around the world in our Jeep Gladiator we call DAUNTLESS

LOL, I looked up places to buy when I returned home as well. Anyway, keep up the posts! While I can't travel right now, your posts are helping!
  15. We are driving around the world in our Jeep Gladiator we call DAUNTLESS

I loved Guanajuato City when I visited Mexico. The people were amazingly friendly, I felt incredibly safe and loved the food. Just the scenery in that part of Mexico is amazing. The only thing that I had to get used to was getting woken up at the crack of dawn. The roosters would start and the...
  16. 37s and drivetrain reliability - is it worth it?

I'm upgrading to 37's here in the next month or so when my lift comes in. I don't have any worries as I had a JK on heavy beadlocks and tires without issues for 70k miles. The only thing that I upgraded were the balljoints to dynatrac prosteers. I'll probably do the same later down the line when...
  17. For Sale, Lightly Modded Gladiator

All I could think was, "WTF is that"
  18. Hydro Blue Rubicon Diesel Build

I'm going to be paying someone to the next round of mods. EVO MFG 4.5" Overland Stage 4 Plus Lift Front and Rear Adams 1350 drive shafts Fox 2.0 4.5"-6" shocks Tazer Mini I went back and forth between the EVO 2.5" and the EVO 4.5" lift. Then I thought back to when I lifted my JK. I went with...
  19. Hydro Blue Rubicon Diesel Build

Well I still haven't gotten my ARB air compressor installed. BUT I did get the 37" Cooper STT PROs mounted on the KMC beadlocks. It's been a few years since I've set up beadlocks and I forgot how tedious it is...
  20. Why did you go diesel?

The power. It's just a much better engine to drive everyday. I had the 3.6L in a JK and I had to wring the engine out just to get any power out of it.
