Oooow thats an unpopular one all right but I get it. Most drivers are barely able to park much less change a flat. In fact, thats a good test. You want a Jeep? Change this tire and we will talk.
The flat truth is not everyone is qualified to own a jeep. Or for that matter anything with...
Update. The XLTs are definitely stiffer riding than the 4S. With only 20 miles that is all I can say at the moment. The 4S should be perfect for pavement dirt roads and snow. If your in rough ground with rocks and sticks the XLT may provide some more protection.
Just replaced the AT3 4S with the XLTs. Had 30k on AT3 but due to some vandalism ended up just buying a new set of XLTs. The 4S nicely matched the Mojave for all around use. XLT might be better at damage control. Interesting I sold the stock MTs to a guy with a F150 who says they were smooth...
I had a 67 Dart second hand with the slant six. passed down to little brother then one of his friends. Then his friends sister. Lost track after that but it would not die. I think that engine was also in some of the Dodge trucks too.
The slant six was one of the great engines. But one with 100k on it was rare. How long would a 150hp slant six last at 285 hp? I grew up in that era. Cars with 100k were scrap metal. Thats after at least one transmission rebuild along the way. Manufactures were worse back before safety and...
What is this Fup week? I just did the same thing to a lesser degree. bumped curb coming around turn and wheel is off about 15-20. I dropped it off at alignment shop cause its 105 and I dont feel like messing with it. But, its very possible your drag link is bent. My sons 2000 GC got smacked...
Good idea on insurance. Ill check. Ill see what Discount says on repair today but I'm not holding my breath. I buy a lot of tires from them so maybe they will cut me a break.
P1521 CHRYSLER Code - Incorrect Engine Oil Type
I used Appcar DiagFCA software in a laptop and the right OBD2 bluetooth adapter to access all that. They sell a per car license or more expensive general license. Originally I bought it to work on the dumb air suspension system and stumbled on...
My 2011 5.7 Hemi did EXACTLY that. I put in 5w30 for cam breakin and when monitoring I saw a new DTC. I dont remember the exact wording but it was something like improper oil viscosity. I knows because it monitors pressure and temperature along with pump speed. A given pump speed and...
Some gem of a soul broke off a razor knife blade in one of my Cooper AT3s. At 32k miles either I replace just two or all four. I was wondering if the premium for the XLT is worth it. The truck is mostly highway with Colorado dirt and rock mix.
I have a manual, If you stall it and watch the oil pressure drop its surprising how long it takes. Same thing if you rev past 3k and let it drop to idle. The only real reason I can think of to use a 5w20 over a 0w20 would be if its film strength was significantly better but so far I haven't...
Of course is has a limited life span. Whether 50k or 500k you have to have some design point. But I would not call that planned obsolescence. The idea is to introduce new models that entice buyers. Making a crappy vehicle is a good way to ensure they dont buy your brand again.
To bad our...
Well, you probably had an old Maytag. That plant was closed when Maytag was bought out. Modern manufacturing has made it possible to really tighten up clearances. Not only are they designed for thinner oils a thick oil's low flow may not cool the bearing properly. Viscosity does not have much...
