Similar problem. The exterior handle sensor for the proximity locks had failed causing the locking system to go berserk. Dealer put in a new handle and problem solved.

Fair point, didn't catch that. How would that work even if they made a 5' awning room? The head height would be ridiculous no?

I have 37 x 11.5 r18 Ridge Grappler. They are mounted in my JL Sahara 18” wheels. They are not the Recon Grappler.

I run the Nitto RG 37 x 11.5. Extremely happy with the tire. Thoughts on whether their 38 will fit in the stock spare location? Storing it in the bed is a non-starter for me.

With the limited height in your garage I’d go with a hub tent. Set up in 60 seconds and leave all the gear/drawers in the glady. I have a wedge camper. Perfect for my use. I don’t have a garage so no concern. Even if I had a garage I’d park outside as the simplicity of this setup trumps...

There really isn't much in MA. If you don't want pinstripes you can always do the beaches on the cape and islands. Depending on where you are located, southern/mid NH has miles and miles of Class 6 roads that are excellent. You'll still get pinstripes but it's unavoidable in the north east.
